Melvin Harter was saved as a young child. He was raised in the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) throughout his life. He attended Lee College where he graduated with a BA degree in Biblical Studies. He became an Ordained Minister with the Church of God in 1978. He served as a State Evangelist and pastored a local church.
In 1974, he enrolled at Ashland Theological Seminary and began his Master of Divinity degree. Later he continued his formal education and received his Doctor of Ministries degree. His studies included various post graduate schools as well as the Institute of Holy Land Studies in Jerusalem.
In 1986, he incorporated Melvin Harter Ministries. During the same year, he organized the Pentecostal Worship Center and started Pentecostal Bible Institute.
In 1999, the Melvin Harter Ministries purchased Rev. A. A. Allen's Miracle Valley located in southeast Arizona. For nearly the next ten years, Dr. Harter worked diligently to restored the campus, one building at a time. During this time period, he established the Miracle Valley Bible College & Seminary, the Miracle Valley Assisted Living Home, the Miracle Valley Childcare Center and the Miracle Valley Church.
Due to the nation's economy, Miracle Valley was foreclosed and the Harters had to vacate on December 31, 2008. However, Dr. Harter does not believe it is over for Miracle Valley. He is currently working toward raising the necessary funds to purchase back Miracle Valley and continue its restoration into active ministry.
Every person who has supported this ministry, both in their financial donations as well as their volunteered labor, is greatly appreciated.
The emails listed in this Archive allow the reader much insight as to the day-to-day faith operation of Miracle Valley. Time after time, God gave special miracles to continue His work at Miracle Valley. He is still a Miracle Working God and a God that cannot fail.
