Many declare that "being at Miracle Valley in the 1960s" was like "LIVING IN BIBLE DAYS." Many "Old-Timers" have told us that Rev. A. A. Allen said "the Prayer Tower is the back bone of my ministry."
We live in dangerous and difficult times. The spiritual state of many Churches is very low. If there was ever a need for a genuine Holy Ghost revival, it is now.
The only way real revival comes is solely through prayer. Here at Miracle Valley, we hunger for revival. I am not speaking of holding some protracted meetings; rather, I am speaking of the deep move of the Spirit of God.
When God comes down, sinners get saved. Christians get sanctified and baptized in the Holy Ghost. Miracles and healings become a common occurrence. Devils are cast out, and people are set free by the power of Almighty God.
The way these things come about is through prayer. Prayer is the main focus of activity.
God's people must be a people of prayer. Prayer is a spiritual exercise which requires both time and discipline. Like any other spiritual function, prayer is not always easy to maintain on a regular basis. However, it is the most important act that a Christian does.
Several hundred pastors had gathered to discuss the problem of decline in the church ranks. They were asked: "How many of you have averaged at least 15 minutes a day in prayer over the past thirty days?" Only a handful raised their hand. Ministers have become spiritually weak due to their lack of prayer.
There is no side of the pastor quite so public as the presence or absence of prayer in his life. One thing is for sure - People will know, sooner or later, whether or not prayer is a vital part of the pastor's life and ministry. For when there is more prayer in the pulpit, there will be more power in the pew.
Here at Miracle Valley, we are spending time in prayer. Certain Friday evenings of each month, the entire night is spent in prayer. For example, on Friday, March 14, this is the Friday before our Revival that starts on March 19 with Evangelist Vernon Oxford, we will pray the entire night through. Prayer will be ascending into heaven throughout the night until the sun comes up in the morning.
Again, on Friday, March 28, the Friday before Camp Meeting, we will spend the entire night in prayer. If you feel you would like to join in with us, please feel welcome to do so. We would love to have you in Miracle Valley. However, if it is impossible for you to come to Miracle Valley, you can pray at your home or perhaps at your local church.
Somehow, we must get a hold of God. God is real. He desires a people that He can use. We want to be that people. However, there is a price to be paid. We are willing to pay it, are you?
