Greetings!

Dr. Melvin HarterThese are tough times. People are losing their jobs as companies cut back or go out of business. Thousands of families have already lost their homes, and they don't know what to do.

But I want you to know that there is still a God in heaven who hears and answers prayer. God will sustain His children as we draw closer to Him. I pray that during these difficult and dangerous times that you will recommit your life to Christ and purpose in your heart to be more dedicated to Him than you have ever been in the past. As you do this, you can know one fact, God will never fail you.

God Saved an Assistant City Prosecutor
truckI was under one of the greatest attacks of the devil back in the early 1990s. If God did not help us, our work would be over.

At the time I was pastoring a local church that  owned twenty some acres of prime land along a major highway. We were developing the land, using large dozers and earthmovers. Pictured here is one of the earthmovers on the land.

There was a large corporation who wanted this land but did not want to pay anything for it.  The corporation had great influence with certain city officials, and they were able to get these officials to go against our Church.

For six years, it was a major struggle. Nearly every year, the church was charged with allegations from these certain officials. Since I was the pastor, and represented the church, the responsibility of the charges were placed against me personally.

It was such a hurendous time that even a local television station spoke against us on their evening news program. A major newspaper was at our court sessions and they wrote negative statements against me. It was a most difficult time for me, but I continued to put my faith and trust in the Lord. Even certain Christians who knew us well began to turn against us saying that we must be guilty due to the negative advertisements that were being promoted.

I called our church to fasting and prayer. There was nothing else I knew to do. I wish I could give you the details of how God began to move in our behalf, but time and space do not permit me to do so.

However, I will say that God moved upon the judge who dismissed the cases against us and declared to these certain city officials that he would have them in court if they cited me again. Oh Praise God for the Victory!

During this long span of time, I continued praying, asking God exactly why we had to go through this terrible ordeal?  But O' let me tell you what God did!

Shortly thereafter, I was in my office when a gentleman requested to speak with me. The man had just left a lucheon and experienced a most spectacular event.

It was election year and the city attorney was running for the county attorney position. He requested his various assistants to review his past cases to insure that there was nothing that could embarrass him in his running for the county position. A particular assistant attorney was assigned our case, and what a large file it was.

When the man reviewed our case, the Holy Spirit convicted him. He went to church and got saved. Praise God! During this particular luncheon, the assistant city attorney informed the current city attorney that he wanted nothing else to do with the city attorney's office. He resigned from his own position right then and there. He stated that he had reviewed our particular case and felt that a great injustice was done against the church and me. He witnessed to everyone in attendance and told them that he had accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.

Well, Glory to God! I then knew why the Lord had us to go through this terrible ordeal. God used us to save a lost soul.

By the way, someone mentioned to me that the man has gone into the ministry and is preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ himself.

Boy, does God move in marvelous ways, His wonders to perform.

Just remember dear friend, HE'LL DO IT AGAIN FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
Miracle Valley
truckFriends, God never sent us to Miracle Valley for anything except to reach lost souls for Jesus Christ. We are to train young people to be effective in the ministry. If I knew I would never be able to accomplish this, I would have already packed my bags and left a long time ago.

Let me share with you MY VISION FOR MIRACLE VALLEY. It is one thing to have a vision from God, but it is totally another thing to bring that vision into reality. If I could not bring my vision for Miracle Valley into reality, I would forget it, leave this place and go on to something else.

First of all, MIRACLE VALLEY IS PENTECOSTAL, not charismatic. Many today see no difference between the two, but in fact, there is a vast difference in theology and practice.

Secondly, MIRACLE VALLEY IS A PLACE FOR THE SICK and hopeless to come and receive their healing or a miracle. When someone is told they have cancer, what is the first thing that comes into people's mind? It is death, no hope and funeral arrangements need to be made. Where can the cancer victim turn for help when the doctors have given up on them? It should be Miracle Valley. Those who are sick, who have been given up by the medical profession, must be given hope. That hope is God. But tell me, where can they go to seek divine help? I do not know of any place where this can occur. Then let it be Miracle Valley.

Thirdly, MIRACLE VALLEY IS A PLACE FOR TRAINING of young people into the ministry. It will be a place where students will learn the Bible and biblical truths as well as "hands-on" ministry. What good is book knowledge if it is never applied to everyday life?

Fourthly, MIRACLE VALLEY IS A PLACE FOR MINISTERS, missionaries, and other Christians who have retired. Miracle Valley must be a place for those who have spent their life for God and now do not have adequate funds to live properly.

Fifthly and certainly not least, MIRACLE VALLEY IS A PLACE FOR PRAYER AND FASTING.  It is to be a place where some one can come to seek the face of God and discover God's divine will for their life. There are times when people need to get alone with God and stay there until God reveals Himself to them. Miracle Valley must be the place.

Wade Horton

It is always difficult when you are put through the fire and being tested. You feel that nobody cares, and the devil is really working overtime against you. You don't know what to do?

Bill collectors are calling and you don't answer the telephone. You know what I am talking about. If you are not experiencing this situation at the moment, no doubt you have in your past. We have all been there. And friends, from all indications, our economy may get worse before it gets better.

Forget these prosperity preachers who promote their false prosperity doctrines. I hope you understand what I mean. God meets our needs, but God is not interested in making people so wealthy that they pay $250,000 for an automobile, have large vacation homes throughout the country, and act as though they were born in a palace.

Friends, God's judgment is upon the entire world. Payday has come to our own land. We reap what we have sown. God gives us warnings by natural disasters even though some may not realize it. God is sick of worldly preachers who only care about themselves and not lost souls of humanity.

I was informed several years ago that one well-known minister requires a fee of $25,000 per night for him to preach. Over the past several years, if you wish to become wealthy, get into the ministry. However, none of this is according to the Bible.

I remember one minister visited me at Miracle Valley. He stepped into the office, got down on his knees and begged me to sell him Miracle Valley. He said that if he had Miracle Valley, he could lunge a big-time ministry like another minister that he mentioned. This particular so-called minister made me sick and angry. Where are the ministers who care about the souls of humanity? There are no doubt few and far between.

Any minister who sets a fee for his preaching should not be in the ministry. Evangelists should be content with whatever a church gives them from revival offerings. Any preacher who requests a certain amount of funds to preach in someone's church would never preach for me.

God still has en and women of God who put their faith and trust in the Lord to provide for their financial means. However, this does not infer that a pastor should not plan ahead for a revival, including the offering for the evangelist.
YEAR OF JUBILEE FOR MIRACLE VALLEY

truckIt has been difficult for the past 18 months. We have prayed and even held "all-night Prayer Meetings" yet it appeared no answered came.

Our faith was tested and stretched to the limits, but we continue to believe God for the answer. Our faith has not wavered.

We just knew the Lord would work somehow for us. There have been too many prayers prayed, too many meals missed in fasting, too much sacrifice and hard work for God not to move for us. Yet it looked to be over.

But then came December 24, 2008 and with it, God began to turn things around. We will be sharing the positive things that God is doing in our midst.  Let us keep the faith and continue to put our trust in the Lord.
Christian Friends,

In order t
o insure there is no misunderstanding, I want to point out that we no longer own the Miracle Valley campus. We vacated the campus effective December 31. The mortgage company now owns the property. They have put a steel cable across the entrance that prevents anyone access onto the grounds.

However, Miracle Valley Cemetery is not affective by the foreclosure. The cemetery cannot be destroyed or damaged in any way. It must remain open to the public.

The only change regarding the Miracle Valley Cemetery that is affected by our foreclosure is the fact that the mortgage company currently comes under a different state law requirement than that of ourselves, since we were a religious organization.

Regarding Miracle Valley, we spoke with the mortgage company two weeks ago and have been informed that we still have the opportunity to purchase it back. However, at this time, we do not have the necessary funds. Since the property no longer generates an income, it is next to impossible for us to obtain a new loan.

There are several factors involving the property that must be taken care of, and if they are not resolved soon, there stands a strong possibility that the mortgage company may be order to demolish some of the existing structures.

I need someone who has the financial resources to help us get Miracle Valley back so we can accomplish our goals as outlined above. We were at Miracle Valley for nearly ten years and proven ourselves to our community and supporters.  We need God to move for us. It is now in His hands.

Sincerely in Christ Jesus our Lord,
Dr. Melvin Harter
