We have just completed putting new metal roofing on
our third building. Just twelve more to go! You will
never know what a wonderful difference it makes to
have a new metal roof installed on the buildings. For
example, we had the ceilings in four rooms to
literally collapse. This created problems of mold and
other issues that we were constanting dealing with.
In addition, during the cooler months of the year, we
lost much of our heat because it was escaping
through the five old swamp coolers. This made it
most difficult to maintain a proper temperature in our
building, and our propane cost was out of sight each
month.
With the new metal roof on our assisted living home,
it will help us to maintain the proper temperature at
all times for our residents. Our propane bill will be
much less each month, and will save us monies that
can be used on other buildings on campus. Our
problems with mold, etc. will now be totally
elliminated. With the additional insulation being
placed in the attic, and a new central air conditioning
system (to be installed in early Spring), we will see a
savings in our utility bill. The completed remodeling
will, no doubt, lower our insurance premium. The
building will beautiful again.

Gravel Removed From Roof
Our workers removed this large pile of gravel from the
roof of our Miracle Valley Assisted Living Home. This
building was Rev. A. A. Allen's Pool of Bethesda, and
the Assemblies of God's Bethany Lodge.
When the roof was first installed nearly 50 years ago,
much more gravel than this was put on the roof along
with black tar. Just removing this pile of gravel tells
us that a lot of weight was removed from the roof of
the Assisted Living Home.

Old Swamp Coolers Removed
Five old swamp coolers (Swamp coolers often
substituted for air-conditioners, and are very popular
in the southwest) that were put on the roof of this
building since 1958-59 were removed by our workers.
Deteriated wood, especially around the existing
swamp coolers, as well as the porch area, must be
replaced. Certain facial board that has rotted must
be replaced as well.
New light-weight metal roofing will soon be installed;
thus, guaranteeing many years of roof protection.

New Roof Underway
As soon as the various items were removed from the
roof structure, new metal sub-beams were screwed
every 24 inches into the main wood beams of the
building with large screws.
New light-weight, yet very durable, 22 foot metal
roofing sheets are screwed into the metal sub-
beams. This metal roof is installed to withstand high
winds that often occur at Miracle Valley.

Metal Roof Completed
The new metal roof for the Assisted Living Home is
now completed on the entirety of the building, all
8,850 square feet of it. PRAISE GOD!
All that is left is just a little painting of the facial
board. This new metal roof will last for many years.
A very special THANKS for all that have helped us
with its remodeling.

Miracle Valley Assisted Living Recipient of an Estate
Our office has just received legal notification that
someone, who recently passed away, had made a will
and designated his entire estate to the Miracle Valley
Assisted Living Home. This person has had absolutely
no affiliation or connection with Miracle Valley. We
are designated to receive these funds in the
Spring.
Whatever amount of funds there may be from this
estate, whether small or large, is greatly
appreciated. The funds are to be used solely for the
care of the elderly in the Assisted Living Home.
This just goes to prove the Lord is with us, and we
are so thankful. God had spoken to someone's heart
to make this donation to us. We are very
appreciative for this. We have never before, ever
received funds from an estate. May God bless this
person's family.

Testimonial from Pastor B. L. (Bud) Yoder
As a former graduate of Miracle Valley Bible College, I
have only the greatest respect for A. A. Allen and
Miracle Valley Bible College. This man and college
changed my life forever.
I have always held to the belief that God would once
again use this anointed place, known as Miracle
Valley.
From the first day my wife, Sarah, also a former
graduate, and I met Melvin & Roberta Harter, we
knew they were chosen, by the Lord, to rebuild this
training center.
We, and our church, Miracle Revival Center, have
loved, prayed, and continually supported their work.
Sarah has since gone on to be with the Lord but to
the very end of her life she loved Miracle Valley and
wanted me to keep on supporting the Harters.
Miracle Valley will be a great Holy Ghost Bible School
and place of Revival once again in America in this last
day.
I am praying for God to speak to people to stand
behind Miracle Valley and the Harters.
In closing, I will speak as Nehemiah, “The work was
great but the people had a mind to work.”
Thank you.
B.L. Yoder
