Greetings!
I saw on the news recently where some officials
would like to replace your passport with a special
chip that can be inserted into your hand. This
special chip would have the necessary information
required by officials.
All of this, along with many other things, simply point
to the soon coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Time is
simply running out. What we do, we must do quickly. Currently, the county officials have given us basically
a free hand in getting Miracle Valley up-to-date.
However, this open window is only good through next
August 2007. After that, we will be obligated to
meet all the criteria, including large fees, which the
county requires. We must take advantage of this
opportunity that is afforded us. By the help and grace of God, we would like to have
the buildings at Miracle Valley totally restored by its
50th anniversary. Now Miracle Valley was founded in
January 1958 by Evangelist A. A. Allen. In 2008,
Miracle Valley will be 50 years old. Will you help us
meet this deadline? We need your help, both
physically and financially, if we are to be successful
in restoring Miracle Valley. Help us to make this
endeavor successful so that Miracle Valley will be an
asset to our society by the training of young men
and women into the ministry so there might be hope
for our nation and our churches.

Church Built by Dr. Harter
In the 1970s, Brother & Sister Harter served as State
Evangelists for the Church of God (Cleveland, TN).
They traveled extensively, preaching the gospel,
winning souls to Christ, and bringing revival to the
local churches.
Then in 1975, Overseer Billy Bennett requested that
Brother Harter pray about accepting a pastorate.
When Brother Harter went to look at the old
dilapidated church, originally built in 1854 and
pray about it, all of a sudden, Melvin Harter heard
God (seemed like a literal voice) speak to him a
second time in his life. That voice said, "I have
called you here to build a church for My glory."
Knowing God had spoken to them, Dr. & Mrs. Harter
labored and built this church for the glory of God.
Although starting with just 9 people, a record
attendance was set at 676. This is an octogon
church seating 500 on the main floor and a five-sided
balcony that accompanied an additional 250 people.
It wasn't an easy task; instead, very difficult.
However, Dr. Harter knew that God had called him to
his task. Money was difficult to obtain, and it
required hard work from the Harters. This church
was built on faith.
God showed Dr. Harter how to do it. A childcare
center was established, which in turn, brought many
new families into the church. Finances also began to
come, and an all-time record were established.
MIRACLE VALLEY - While in the Prayer Tower, God
showed Dr. Harter that His same concept would
work at Miracle Valley. Miracle Valley would be
involved in the local community providing necessary
childcare services as well as reaching people for
Jesus Christ. And in addition, the finances will come.
These finances will help sustain Miracle Valley's future.

Old Day Care
This is where it all began, back in 1999 when Dr.
Harter arrived at Miracle Valley.
This building initially consisted of eight rooms and was
built by Rev. A. A. Allen in the late 1960s. This was
his Sunday School Department.
Later, when the property was under the control of
the Southern Arizona Bible College, half of the
building was opened up, thus making it one open
room. The building was then utilized as a college
chapel and additional administrative offices.
In 1999, the building was in dire need of repair and
remodeling. There was no insulation, resulting in the
building either being too hot or too cold. The old
furnace was not usable, and there were many leaks
in the ceiling due to the bad roof that desperately
needed to be replaced.

Volunteers from Church in Blue Island, IL
Rev. Peter Contreras, Pastor of Bethel Pentecostal
Church in Blue Island, IL (a former alumni of Miracle
Valley Bible College under Rev. A. A. Allen) brought 24
volunteers arrived from his congregation to devote
one week of work to Miracle Valley.
There was a lot of work that was done by 24 people
in a short period of time. This picture shows some of
the volunteers sawing and constructing new 2X4
walls.
Pastor Peter Contreras and his wife, Phyllis visit
Miracle Valley about four times each year. Miracle
Valley had made such a tremendous impression upon
the Contreras that they want to give something
back, and see Miracle Valley fully restored again.
Would you like to see Miracle Valley restored again?
Would you like to be a part of its restoration? We
have a dire need for electricians, carpenters, common
laborers, and etc. Why not telephone Miracle Valley
and make your plans to come?

Walls Go Up
Two by four walls are constructed along the interior
of the outside walls.
The plan is to have new electrical wiring and
insulation installed. Following this, drywall will be
screwed to the two by fours.
In addition to the exterior walls, the same process
will be applied to the ceiling.
In order to maintain the proper temperature at all
times, and keep our overhead costs low, we must
insulate the entire building.

Insulation Installed
It takes a lot of insulation to complete this task.
This picture shows the insulation is being installed
throughout the building.
This will save many dollars in the utility costs each
month, and overall, it will be a large savings to
Miracle Valley.

Finished Product
The work is nearly completed. The building has been
insulated, new electrical wiring installed as well as a
new furnace.
The drywall has been put on the walls and it is
completely painted. The carpet is installed and the
building is now ready for childcare equipment.
Many who have seen the finished product have
expressed their feeling to the fact that the building is
beautiful. Those who seen the building in its prior
condition are literally amazed as to what it has
become.

Old Shingles Removed
If something is to be done, then it should be done
right.
During the past years, roll roofing and shingles have
been installed on the roof. No doubt, due to the lack
of funds, there was nothing else that could be done.
The roof must be stripped of all the shingles and
existing roofing material. Rotten wood would need to
be replaced. New felt paper would then be installed,
and this is followed by a metal roofing material being
placed onto the structure.

New Metal Roof
New metal roofing material has been installed on the
roof. All of the existing swamp coolers were
removed. New air-conditioning will later be installed
throughout the facility.
Here is a picture of the finished product. Praise God!
The building is completed.
So often in the past, we were heart-broken when it
rained on this building. But we can now sing, "Send
Down The Rain, Lord" because there are no leaks in
this building.
Please remember that we have placed new metal
roofing material on three buildings; however, we still
have several others to do such as the tabernacle and
the dormitories.
Will you please consider helping us financially and by
volunteering? We need your help!

Personal Message From Dr. Melvin Harter

Friends, without your prayers, your sacrificial financial
support, and the labor of our volunteers and others
that we have to pay, this building would not be
where it is today.
I just want to say from my heart that on behalf of
myself and Sister Harter, as well as our staff here at
Miracle Valley, we sincerely and humbly thank you for
standing with us here at Miracle Valley.
Just as God has called me to this work at Miracle
Valley, God has called you to stand with me.
This is an "End-Time" work that must be completed
as soon as possible. Many today have invested
tremendous sums of money and time into what God
wants done at Miracle Valley.
Would you like to be a part of what God is doing
today? Please prayerfully consider being a partner
with Miracle Valley.
Remember, everyone who has contributed at least
$1,000 to the remodeling of this building, their name
will be placed on a bronze tablet that will be mounted
on the front wall of this building.
We still need a playground fence and additional
equipment for the childcare center. Perhaps you
would like to contribute to these items and have your
named added to the bronze marker?
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is
registered with the United States Government and
the Internal Revenue Service.
Every financial gift is tax-deductable. If you
would like for it to apply to your 2006 tax form, you
need to make your financial donation before the end
of this year.
May the Lord richly bless you is our prayer.
