Greetings! I want to personally express my sincere appreciation to each of you for your prayers and financial support to Miracle Valley. With the Lord's help and your continued support, Miracle Valley will be completely restored. Once again Holy Ghost anointed men and women of God will be trained and equipped to touch this world for God! I want to give you an up-date regarding the daycare center building. Our childcare center building was Rev. A. A. Allen's Sunday school building that he constucted in the late 1960s. When the Hispanic Assembly of God used the property as Southern Arizona Bible College (SABC), the building was initially utilized as Administrative Offices and later converted into a Chapel. It has been a long time in coming, but Praise the Lord, the building is nearly completed! New light fixtures will be installed this week. New carpet will be placed in the main room. Childcare equipment is due to arrive. An outdoor playground fence will be installed in the next week or so. We are preparing to submit our formal application with the Arizona State Childcare License Dept. We invite everyone of you to stop by and tour Miracle Valley whenever you can. We would love to have you visit with us. (Below is a picture of the recent newly constructed porch that was added to the rear of the childcare building. Required by the State of Arizona Building Codes, the porch, which is 10 feet by 35 feet, is seen here nearing completion.) ![]() Dr. Melvin Harter
![]() Praise God! Miracle Valley was the recent recipicant of a $30,000 donation. The donor is an alumni of Miracle Valley. He has a sincere desire to see Miracle Valley restored. Hallelujah! The devil is mad and we are glad! Due to this donation, a brand new metal roof is being installed on the Administration Building and scheduled to be completed this week. The Administration Building is the first building seen when one drives into Miracle Valley. In addition, with this special donation, roofers start next week at the Assisted Living Home (Allen's Pool of Bethesda & SABC's Bethany Lodge). The five old swamp coolers that are no longer adequate in today's standards will be removed. The under-lying material of the roof structure will be checked to see if any area needs replacement. Following this, a new metal roof will be installed on the Assisted Living Home. This project should be completed in 2-3 weeks. The new metal roof will not only prevent water from coming into the building, but will also enhance the entire structure as well. We invite every alumni and friend of Miracle Valley to join the efforts to restore and rebuild Miracle Valley. Whatever gift or donation is greatly appreciated and will go directly into the restoration of Miracle Valley. ![]()
![]() Many people have contributed financially to the remodeling of this particular building or have donated their labor toward its restoration. Those individuals who have stood by us will have their name placed on a bronze marker that will be attached to the outside of the building. Future generations of those passing by will see the names of people who were instrumental, both in financial support as well as volunteering, in the remodeling of this building. ![]()
![]() Dr Harter and his wife preach revivals and promote Miracle Valley Bible College & Seminary everywhere. Prospective students are recruited from the altars in local churches and revival meetings. If you would like to have Dr. Harter minister in your local church, contact the Miracle Valley Office. Dr. Harter preached in Louisa, KY under Ray Knapp's gospel tent on its final service. Dr. Harter has always looked forward to preaching to those people who live in the mountains of eastern Kentucky. Dr. Harter's maternal grandparents were originally from Olive Hill in Carter County, Kentucky. Dr. Harter preached on Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever. Dr. Harter preached on The Blood; The Fire Fell; and Israel & The Coming of Jesus Christ under a gospel tent in Woodstock, Ontario the following week. It was an exciting time there. Fire trucks came with their sirens and lights on during the first night of the meeting. However, Holy Ghost fire cannot be put out with water. A police cruiser with lights flashing and his siren blasting loudly, led two hearches to the gospel tent during its last evening service. Each hearch brought a coffin under the tent. Evangelist Gary Baer, a former student of Dr. Harters when he served as a professor at the Jimmy Swaggart Bible College in Baton Rouge, LA., preached the final message entitled, "Where Will You Spend Eternity?" The Spirit of the Lord was so strong that eleven sinners came forward, knelt in the altars and accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Last Sunday evening, Dr. Harter preached to a full house on the subject of Heaven at the Miracle Revival Center in Bryan, Ohio where Bud Yoder is the pastor. Bud Yoder is an alumni of Miracle Valley and worked with Rev. A. A. Allen from 1960-1968. Pastor Yoder and his church are strong supporters of Miracle Valley, as well as personal friends of the Harter, and we appreciate them very much. The altars were filled to capacity with people praying and seeking the Lord. It was truly an "old- fashioned Holy Ghost service like Pentecostals use to have years ago." This is a vast difference from full-gospel and Pentecostal churches today who no longer have Sunday evening services because they can't get anyone to attend. Of course, if a Pentecostal Church no longer offers Sunday evening services, it must mean theat they no longer have revival meetings in their church as well. One must ask the question, "Why don't people attend Sunday evening services anymore?" Could it be there is little or no move of the Holy Spirit to draw them? Is this a sign that Pentecostal Churches are becoming what they came out of a little over 100 years ago? We are living on the brink of the coming of Jesus Christ. God's judgment is destined to come upon any nation that forgets God. When Christ returns for His Church, He is not coming back for a worldly, powerless, cold and indifferent Church. Instead, according to scripture, "What was started in the Spirit cannot be perfected by the flesh." This means that Jesus Christ is coming back for a Church and people that are ON-FIRE for Him. Are you in that ON-FIRE Church? ![]()
![]() Dr. & Mrs. Harter's son, Melvin Harter III (seen in the photo on the right) and his wife Lindsay, worked five months during the winter of 2004-2005 doing labor to the construction and remodeling of Miracle Valley's apartment complex. When they returned to their home, they were both blessed with much better paying jobs. Recently, Melvin & Lindsay donated $2000 to Miracle Valley. These funds paid half of the labor for the contractors last week. Over the past year, this young couple has donated over $14,000 to the efforts of restoring Miracle Valley. A large truck, loaded with donated furniture and special childcare equipment, leaves for Miracle Valley from Knoxville TN next week. Tammy (Harter) Ward, a public school teacher and daughter of Dr. & Mrs. Harter, makes this donation. In addition, she and her husband donated a lovely 1999 Ford Windstar Van. A special thanks to Mark Butler of Dallas, TX who donated 15 or so 16 mm reel-to-reel films produced by the Allen Ministry in the 1960s. These special films will be placed in the Miracle Valley Bible College Archive Department. Pastor Bud Yoder and the Miracle Revival Center Church donated a shuttle bus to the Miracle Valley Assisted Living Home. The bus will be transported to Miracle Valley. Thank you Pastor Yoder. We appreciate this special gift to Miracle Valley. All materials and labor to restore Miracle Valley are an addition cost factor to the current monthly operating budget. Whatever donation, it always greatly appreciated. ![]()
