In 1958 when Rev. A. A. Allen came to Miracle Valley, it was a barren dry desert.
But it was understood by all that this particular property was set aside by God for anointed use.
Everything that went on here at Miracle Valley at that time was always taken to God in prayer.
Water was a main commodity. Water is always scarce in any desert, let alone this one.
But as their usual business, prayer was made regarding water.
God gave them the answer to their water needs. He revealed to them the exact spot where to dig the well, exactly how deep into the ground they must dig as well as other things that will occur.
These men and women of God fully obeyed the voice of God.
They went to the exact location that God revealed to them. They dug 876 feet into the ground and literally hit a "Gusher."
The well became known as the "MIRACLE WELL."
Today, Miracle Valley has some of the best tasting water in the world.
Also in the early years, it is recorded that many people who drank the Miracle Valley Water were healed of their sicknesses by the power of God.
Occasionally, we have American Indians visiting with us at Miracle Valley. Before then leave Miracle Valley, they always take water from Miracle Valley with them.
One precious Indian woman shared this with me a few years ago -
My grandmother was dying from cancer. The Emergency Squad prepared to take her to the hospital where she was to die. It seemed to everyone to be over for our grandmother. But then I remembered what God said about the water from Miracle Valley. We had some of this water in our refrigerator. Before my grandmother left in the squad, I gave her some Miracle Valley water to drink. God instantly healed my grandmother of her cancer.
Now I don't know all the ways of God because God can do anything he wants. And His ways are certainly far beyond me. I do recall, however, where Jesus commanded a blind man to wash his eyes in the Pool of Siloam, and when the man did as Christ commanded, he was totally healed. (John 9)
We me tell you some things about the water at Miracle Valley.
We had one man who came to Miracle Valley with his wife. The man had a throat problem and could not talk very well. His wife instructed him to drink some Miracle Valley water and believe God for his healing. He did and immediately he was healed and began to speak normally as anyone would. I did not think much about it because I did not fully understand the man's situation. But I will say to you that this man and his wife began shouting and praising God!
Sister Harter and our youngest daughter Sarah returned to Ohio to go to their dentists. They go to separate dentist offices. However, when they had their teeth cleaned, both dentists asked them the same question, "What have you been drinking?" Well, Sarah had stopped drinking soda pop at that time so it was not the soda pop that she was drinking. Both Sister Harter and Sarah told their dentists that they were drinking only water from Miracle Valley. Both of these dentists told them that whatever they were drinking, keep it up because their teeth were in excellent shape. When Sister Harter shared this with me, I thought it rather unique that two separate, distinct dentists would say the same thing to two different patients.
You think that was strange; here is one that is better than that.
A lady telephoned me from California. She asked me if she could come and pray in our Prayer Tower here at Miracle Valley. Of course, everyone is welcome to come here and pray in this Prayer Tower.
She arrived one Sunday morning. However, she had brought her husband with her as well as a lady friend.
At the time, we had locked the main front glass doors, so the woman drove to the platform area of the tabernacle where she parked her car.
She and her lady friend entered the tabernacle where the ramp was located.
I had noticed the woman's husband. He was in tremendous pain. I could see it all over his face. His hands were swollen and his knuckles were greatly enlarged. I felt so sorry for him.
When I asked about him, his wife informed me that her husband had arthritis and there was no cure for him. He had to learn to suffer the pain. It was so sad to see him like that.
We conducted our Sunday morning service in the Cafeteria, after which, my wife and I went to our apartment to eat our Sunday dinner.
Before we finished our meal, there was a knock at the door. I rose to open the door and when I did, there stood this dear brother with tears flowing down his face, yet he had a big smile on his face as well.
He exclaimed to me, "I'm healed Dr. Harter. God has healed me. It's a miracle!"
I was initially dumbfounded. I had not expected anything like this to occur. Why we didn't even pray for him and now here he was praising God for his Miracle.
Of course, I invited him into the apartment. I lost all desire to finish my meal. I wanted to find out what happened to this man?
There he stood, jumping up and down, making a fist and hitting it into his other hand. He was exuberant.
I asked him, "Brother, what happened? I know you were in terrible pain, now you appear to have no pain at all. What happened?"
Here is the man's story as he related it to me.
"Dr. Harter, as you know, my wife parked our car at the front entrance of the tabernacle. I was tired of just sitting in the car, so I got out and stood in front of it. I heard your big well come on so I walked over to where it was. Just before the well's pump ended, the 5,000 gallon water tank spread some water out of it. Unbeknown to me, some of the water sprayed on me. When the water sprayed on me, I was instantly healed of my arthritis and pain. All of the swollen joints instantly became normal. I was healed!"
Personally, I never heard anything like this in my entire life. I began to think, "What is God doing in this place?" People are getting miracles from water spraying from a water tank?
I tell you that I don't understand it all, but I don't need to understand it neither do you. If God chooses to give people miracles just from the water here at Miracle Valley, who am I to question God?
When the dear brother left, I asked Sister Harter, "Exactly what kind of water do we have here at Miracle Valley?" I don't really know, but if it enables the sick to be healed, more power to it. All I can say is PRAISE GOD!
Since that time, there has been a demand of our water from different parts of the country. When in Tennessee some time ago, I checked into what we would have to do in order to bottle Miracle Valley water, but it seemed to me that there was more than what we thought to bottle the water.
