Miracle Valley
I most certainly thank every one of you who have stood with me here at Miracle Valley since my arrival in August 1999. I know that God will reward everyone for their support of Miracle Valley.
However, without another miracle immediately from the Lord, it appears that Sister Harter & I will have to vacate the property. I have been working diligently to obtain new financing, but it seems that time is of the essence, and there may not be enough time for us to get our new loan closed.
As you know, just a week ago, I had to raise nearly $10,000 for Miracle Valley and I appreciate every one of you who stood with me. However, our donations and monthly income is drastically down. Last fall, I had to file a Chapter 11 with the BK Court in order to save Miracle Valley. Now the BK has ordered me to pay nearly $12,000 to the lender by Wednesday (August 20), or Miracle Valley will be sold.
In addition, the BK wants our new loan to be closed by September 10, or again, Miracle Valley will be sold. Our new lenders have informed me that due to the Labor Day Weekend, and the lender taking a one week vacation, it is absolutely impossible for us to close our new loan by the 10th. They really need until October 1 to do our loan. Our attorney is filing Thursday, again requesting the Court to extend the additional 20 days to us, especially since we have children in our childcare center and residents in our assisted living home. Of course, the attorney will do this only if I have raised the additional $12,000, and if not, then of course, it is all over for us and Miracle Valley. He plans to call me first thing in the morning to inquire as to the status of this money. And as usual, I do not have any funds.
I hope you can see some of the stress that Sister Harter & I live under. This is what it has been basically like for the past nearly 10 years.
I really hate to send emails requesting donations all the time. I would much more prefer to send emails and inform you of the positive things God was doing at Miracle Valley.
Our attorney has informed me that he believes the present mortgage holder desires to have the Miracle Valley property. Our appraisal came in at 3 million dollar value on Miracle Valley. Should the lender obtain the Valley, then, of course, they can make a sizable profit when they sell it on the open market.
The only recourse I might have is to try to sell Miracle Valley before I lose it. And the only one that may have the ability to act quickly is a gentleman from Japan who visited me last year with an offer. This would, at least, give Sister Harter & me a little money that would allow us to remove our possessions from Miracle Valley.
But I am still a "Man of Faith" and know that God is still in control. Also, God has never sent me anywhere that I not been successful in accomplishing what He wanted me to do. God has always stood by my side and made the way for me as I continue to believe Him for the impossible.
Therefore, I am concluding many of the things we do at Miracle Valley, and calling everyone to join me & Sister Harter in prayer around the clock in the Tabernacle and Prayer Tower, calling upon the Lord.
In addition, we are having revival services with Evangelist TJ Tipton this weekend.
