Greetings! This is a most crucial time for Miracle Valley. We need some immediate help. We Desperately Need Your Financial Assistance
Right now, we need financial help at Miracle Valley.
We are on a very tight budget and must watch every
dollar spent. However, we have had major problems
with the well, resulting in the campus being without
water from Saturday until Wednesday two weeks
ago. Being without water is a major problem when
you have an Assisted Living program for the elderly
and other residents residing on campus. Thousands
of dollars were required for repairs.
Currently, we receive about $16,000 a month from our Assisted Living program with a possibility of increasing it to about $18,000. This is the first time Miracle Valley is generating its own income to sustain itself. However, our present monthly obligations are $23,000 resulting in a deficient of $7,000 per month. Now with the additional costs of repairing the well, we must have $10,000 immediately. A few months after my arrival at Miracle Valley in 1999, I was praying in the Prayer Tower. I said, "Lord, even if we had the funds to pay Miracle Valley off in full, how am I going to pay for the monthly obligations that are required to keep the doors open?" And dear friend, it takes a lot of money to pay for the electric bills, propane, and insurance premiums. (By the way, we currently pay $44,000 annually just for insurance which is prorated over a nine-month schedule making it a monthly payment of $4889 each month.) It has not been easy getting a zoning clearance since the county does not recognize a childcare center as an accessory use of a church. However, after nearly 4 years, we received our zoning clearance for a childcare center consisting of more than 10 children on June 9. We are thank the Lord for making the way for us. Once our childcare center is in full operation, we should have the necessary funds from it and the Assisted Living Home to pay the basic monthly obligations for Miracle Valley. This will relieve a tremendous amount of pressure from Sister Harter and me. However, I desperately need your financial help Right Now for Miracle Valley.
