In 1954, A. A. Allen wrote a book that posed a question - "Will Russia Invade America?" The book dealt with God's judgment upon our land.
Many people who read the book shrug it off, contending that Russia is no longer a threat to the US and that Allen really missed it on this point.
It is rather unique to me that "the Allen prophecy of 1954" coincides so closely with "the Swaggart prophecy that was given in June 1944." (For you who may not be acquainted with the Swaggart prophecy, we hope to have it posted on-line soon.)
There was a documentary on television a few weeks ago where it was revealed that in 1982-1983 during the Reagan Administration, World War III nearly erupted between the United States and Russia.
It was stated that at least 150 million Americans would die in an initial attack. Where would the attack take place? No doubt in our larger cities such as New York, Atlanta, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and even Columbus, Ohio.
The sad fact is that no one knew how close America came to certain death and destruction. We continue to watch our televisions and live a life of ease. Many people enjoy the good life and what it affords them. However, we may be closer to the end as a nation than we fully realize.
Friend, God will not condone sin regardless whether it is in communistic Russia or freedom loving America. God judges sin.
A few days ago, Fox News gave a report of certain prominent people who opposed a manger scene because baby Jesus offended them. Thank God for a little Christian lady that stood up against such infidels.
Ecclesiastes 8:11,"Because sentence against an evil work is not speedily, therefore, the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil."
As Rev. W. L. Swaggart once said, "It is not a matter of WHETHER God's judgment is coming, it is simply a matter of WHEN."
When America was attacked on 9/11, no one (including the ACLU) complained when Fox News continually put on our television screen II Chronicles 7:14.
Somehow, we seem to forget the past. Remember, God always gives warnings before His final judgment.
