Miracle Valley Newsletter
Greetings!

MIRACLE VALLEY'S Year-Long Celebration starts in just a few days. We invite everyone to join us in our YEAR OF JUBILEE celebrating MIRACLE VALLEY'S 50th ANNIVERSARY.  If you attended school or if you participated in anything that occurred at Miracle Valley, then we especially invite you to join with us in this special "year long" celebration.

In this newsletter, we honor SOUTHERN ARIZONA BIBLE COLLEGE, often referred to as SABC, for their reaching out to the Hispanic population and establishing a school at Miracle Valley from 1976-1995 where many students were trained in the work of the Lord.

Today, SABC students served as pastors, evangelists and missionaries throughout the nation and world. They are successful in their ministries largely because of their biblical/ministerial training they received at Southern Arizona Bible College. May God bless everyone who was at SABC.
SABC STUDENTS RETURN
FOR VISIT
SABC students

Some of our recent guests at Miracle Valley were Pastor Jeff McDonell and his wife Kathleen, and Joel and his wife who are residents of Tucson.

They have many fond memories of SABC, today known as Miracle Valley.

These individuals were students at SABC.

Not only did they meet at SABC, but they also married at SABC.

Jeff was a student at SABC and remained on as a staff member for a total of 8 years at SABC.

Jeff is the senior pastor of the Assembly of God church in Cortez, CO, a position he has served since his leaving SABC.
SILVER SUPPOSEDLY DISCOVERED AT MIRACLE VALLEY
truck

Recent Alumni informed us that some years ago, a group of professional mining people, with sensitive mining equipment stated that there existed a large section of silver in the ground at Miracle Valley.

Permission was never granted for its extraction so it remains today in the same place where the professionals, utilizing their special equipment, gave its location.

Southern Arizona Bible College
SABC

Southern Arizona Bible College deserves credit for the tremendous work they accomplished on what was known as Miracle Valley campus.

For some twenty years (1976-1995), the Miracle Valley campus was leased and then owned by the Central Latin America District of the Assemblies of God who established a Hispanic Pentecostal school known as Southern Arizona Bible College or SABC.

SABC was instrumental in training hundreds of Hispanic Pentecostals in the work of the Lord.
BASKETBALL COURT

In order to assist the college, basketball equipment was installed by SABC on the concrete located behind the main tabernacle.
NEW POSTS INSTALLED

As in many Christian ministries, lack of adequate finances is a major problem.

Although lack of finances was a common day occurrence during those years; nevertheless, SABC did much to improve the existing campus. Much work was accomplished.

Classroom
With committed volunteers, new posts and lintels were installed at Bethany Lodge (known today as the Assisted Living Home), the Cafeteria, two Classroom Buildings and the Administration Building. All of these buildings are of a considerable size.
SHOWER STALLS
Showers

.Located in the present Childcare Center building are shower stalls installed in the 1960s.

Initially, the dividers between the shower stalls were metal. However, over the year, the metal tended to become rusty.

To alleviate this problem, SABC removed the old metal shower stalls and replaced them with new concrete block walls.

Because of SABC efforts, the shower stalls remain in excellent condition today.
$50,000 DONATION
Dorm Showers
Back in the 1980s, SABC needed to remodel the restrooms and showers in both the Men's and Women's Dormitory. However, to do so required a considerable amount of money in order to accomplish this feat.

After much prayer, a donation of $50,000 was given to SABC for the expressed purpose of the remodeling the restrooms and shower facilities in both dormitories.

New ceramic tile was installed, as well as new plumbing, hot water tanks and new sinks
Sincerely,

Dr. Melvin Harter
