This is perhaps the most important newsletter that I have ever emailed to you.

This coming Sunday, we are having our first service in the tabernacle. This will be the first church service in the tabernacle since the new roll roofing was put on the building.

Even though it is certainly not completed, it is at least, for the most part, in the dry.

I don't know how many years the water has poured into that building, but I know it was years even prior to our coming here in 1999.  Personally, I don't know how the building was able to take so much water.  It certainly had to be God that preserved it.

You who have visited Miracle Valley in the past years may remember the old choir risers.  They were disassembled, etc., and the boards were utilized in replacing the bad wood in the roof structure.  Today, if you look up at the ceiling, you will see the boards that made up the choir risers.

If we do not get our refinancing done prior to the sale, I plan to shut the entire office building down on Tuesday, September 11.  Our staff and I will spend the entire day in prayer.  There is nothing else I know to do.

Should we lose Miracle Valley, it would be such a shame, especially when you consider how far we have come.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars have gone into Miracle Valley.

Literally thousands of man hours, comprising hard work, from volunteers and hired workers have likewise gone into Miracle Valley.

Our Assisted Living Home is full and generating a modest income, helping us to pay Miracle Valley bills.

After a number of years, we finally got the Childcare Center remodeled and licensed by the State of Arizona to such a point that it is one of the nicest childcare facilities in southern Arizona.

Our formal application to the State Board of Charter Schools was submitted to them and we believe we should receive our official approval very soon.  The Charter School would give us a lot of daily activity at Miracle Valley and be a blessing to numerous families in the local area.

What do I do at this point?  Well, if you know me very well, you will know that I still believe God for a financial miracle.

If course, what is money and what is a million or even two million dollars?  It is just a one or a two with a lot of zeros behind it.

I know God sent me to Miracle Valley.  Sister Harter & I have given our all, as well as many others who have stood with us in their prayers and financial support.

But I will still continue to believe God for the impossible.  PRAISE GOD!

God has sent me the necessary funds throughout my entire life.

While Sister Harter and I were evangelizing back in our 20's, I said to someone who was traveling with us on the old gospel bus going down the highway, "If we needed ten dollars, God could have one of these cars to stop and pull us over and give us the funds."  Why those words were no sooner out of my mouth when a car in front of us immediately pulled to the curb. A man jumped out and flagged us over to the side.  He ran up to our door, placed his foot on the first step of that bus, informed us that God told him to give us ten dollars.   GLORY TO GOD!

Sister Harter & I were building a million-dollar church building that seated 750 people.  Those were the Recession years. I had been working some men but had run out of money to pay them. I called them aside, asking them if they would continue working and let me pay them later because I am a man of faith and I believed God would give me the money I needed. They agreed, and week after week, they worked without pay. The newspaper people came to see me, inquiring as to how I was still working people. I told them that I was building my church on faith.  Several days later, with a large picture of our church on the front page, were these words, "CHURCH BUILDS ON FAITH."

By the way, God sent me a sinner man who gave me $4,700 so I could pay our workers.

Once at the Church of God General Offices in Cleveland, TN, I was in an Assisted General Overseer's office.  I went there to get $35,000.  He told me previously that he would give it to our local church.  I will never forget his words, "Melvin Harter, you are just plain stupid or a man with great faith.  I am unsure about which?" But I responded stating that "I like to think I am a man of faith."  But I want tell you that when I left his office, I had that $35,000 in my pocket.  GOD MET OUR NEED!

In an old-fashioned Gospel Tent Revival I held nearly 25 years ago in Blacklick, Ohio a man attending our meetings gave me $100,000. HALLELUJAH!

Remember the old song -

"GOD CAN DO ANYTHING BUT FAIL"

Neither time nor space permits me to share all the many other wonderful things God has done for me.  But this one thing I know, as in the case of Lazarus, He may be three days late, but He is always on time.

God bless every one of you is our prayer.
SPECIAL NEWS FROM DR. HARTER
truck

As many of you realize, we have been trying to get refinancing for Miracle Valley since late last year.

During this time, our brokers have approached over 100 financial institutions, all turning us down for various reasons.

Although it has been most difficult, we have made our monthly mortgage payment of $15,000 each month to the finance company; however, our balloon payment had come due, and we have been unable to secure new financing.  This resulted in foreclosure action against us.

As much as I hate to inform you, UNLESS GOD GRANTS US A MIRACLE, Miracle Valley is scheduled to be sold on the auction block next Wednesday, September 12.

If this occurs, then Miracle Valley will be sold to the highest bidder.

Various individuals plan to be at the auction.

1 - Several wealthy Japanese businessmen (Buddhist) who recently visited Miracle Valley plan to obtain Miracle Valley for various purposes.

2 - An Alumni of Miracle Valley hopes to be there.

3 - One of California's top ten attorneys plans to put his bid in. He already owns several properties in Arizona.

4 - A local developer hopes his bid will win him Miracle Valley.  He wants to develop Miracle Valley into a small town, as well as develop the open area along highway 92 into commercial property, and turn the tabernacle into a local Skating Rink for the community.

5 - Another developer hopes to get Miracle Valley.  He wants to bulldoze the existing buildings down since they are so old, and turn Miracle Valley into a modern housing development.

Friends, we know that if Miracle Valley sells at the auction, there will be no more Miracle Valley as we know it.

But I still believe that God is in control of men's affairs, and that somehow, God will come through for us.

In front of this mural was a large platform from where outstanding miracles were televised throughout the nation.

MIRACLE VALLEY literally impacted thousands of people with the Gospel of Christ. From its platform, the gospel was not only preached, but demonstrated as well.

Devils were cast out of many people.  Tremendous miracles and healings occurred on this sacred ground. Lives were totally touched and delivered by the power of Almighty God.

Literally millions of people viewed the mighty power of God via their television sets.

We must not allow Satan to destroy Miracle Valley.  God has designated this place to be an "on-going Bible College and training center" for those who hunger for more of God.  Please continue to stand with Dr. Harter and the Miracle Valley staff.

God Gave Me A Special Vision
 Roberta
Shortly after Dr. Harter and I arrived at Miracle Valley, God gave me a special vision regarding Miracle Valley itself.

I will never forget it.  It was so vivid and real and forever sketched upon my mind.

In the vision, I was standing outside Apartment 1 looking to the west.  I soon saw what appeared to be what they call here a "Dirt Devil."  It is like a small tornado of dirt.  It was coming very quickly toward Miracle Valley.

As I kept watching it, it soon circled our entire Bible College campus. The strangest thing was, I did not feel frighten by it in the least.  Instead, I felt a tremendous Spirit of HOLINESS everywhere. I began to say, "There is such a Spirit of Holiness all over the campus."  It was as though the Spirit of God settled upon this place.

As I stood there, a young lady in our Bible College was standing directly in front of me.  As this Spirit of Holiness began to circle the campus, the young girl fell out on the ground and began speaking in other tongues.  It was so marvelous and wonderful.

Shortly thereafter, two other young ladies from the Bible College walked over to see what was happening.  They were about to take her by the hand and lift her to her feet.  I said to both of them, "Do not touch her.  She is under the anointing of the Holy Spirit."  But they touched her anyway, and instantly, they too fell to the ground under the power of Almighty God.

All of a sudden, I recognized a young man who likewise was a student in the Bible College.  He was literally running around the entire campus.  He was running so fast, wearing his cowboy boots, that there was actually dust following him everywhere he went.  However, I noticed that each time he ran past our large Prayer Tower, he would stop, and with both hands, point to it as though saying to me that "that was the place where the source of God's power was emanating."

I remembered I walked across campus to the Girls' Dormitory.  Upon entering its main lobby, my eyes could hardly believe what they saw. I barely made my way through the lobby due to the fact that there were young Bible College girls lying on the floor everywhere.  They had been "slain in the Spirit."

A particular somewhat heavy black girl walked up to me and said, "Sister Harter, I am so glad that you and Brother Harter obeyed God and came to Miracle Valley."  She could barely speak these words because the Holy Ghost was heavily upon her as well.

I will never forget that girl's face.  It remains sketched in my mind even to this day.  I know that if I ever see her, I will recognize her instantly.

I told someone standing near me, "I must get to the Boys' Dormitory and see what God is doing there as well."  I also remember saying that "I must find Brother Harter and let him know what special things God is doing in Miracle Valley."

I remembered saying, "I have heard at least fifty different languages today."

Brother Harter praised God and said, "That means there will be at least fifty students in the Bible College."

I just know that God has something very special planned for Miracle Valley.  I hope you believe it too.

God bless all of you is my prayer,

Visitor Writes to Dr. Harter

Laine Laine first came to Miracle Valley in April 2005 with the Minuteman Project. Since that time, she has returned on various occasions and helped with much of the work.

Recently, we received an email from Laine and thought it would be most appropriate at this time to share her email with all of you.

"Dear Dr. Harter,

Your work at Miracle Valley is truly an inspiration to me.  Even though I am not a Christian, I was rooting for you to get that $5K.  I know that appraisers must be paid up front and that it's critical to have that fee.

I still think everyone loves an underdog, and whether or not you like being one, you are.  I was there myself to see how hard you, Roberta, and all your staff and students were trying.

After I left, I felt inspired to create a similar center of learning, but on a smaller scale. It remains to be seen how that will come to fruition. I doubt I could handle the kind of bills you have on a monthly basis!

I am still looking for suitable employment, or perhaps an appropriate entrepreneurial opportunity.

Please keep me on your email list. I like hearing of how your Deity keeps saving you, especially at the 11th hour. I hope these "saves" begin to come sooner, and that your lives are less stressful.

You must be doing something right!  Please feel free to share this letter with anyone who you think might want to hear it.

Regards,

Laine

"Oh God, move once again for Miracle Valley.  Give a special FINANCIAL MIRACLE to Miracle Valley!  Let Laine see Your hand move for us again. I ask this in the name of Your Son and our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen."
I wish to thank every one of you for your financial support to our work over the past eight years to Miracle Valley.  Regardless of the outcome, we can say we came to Miracle Valley and left something behind that improved the property.

When I look at our circumstances, it does look bleak, but when I walk around Miracle Valley, I still feel that God is going to do something for us. Please write or call us today.

Meanwhile, we are turning to the Lord God Almighty with all our heart,  asking Him to send the needed funds for Miracle Valley.
