Rev. Peter Contreras
Pastor Peter & Phyllis Contreras brought 23 people,
mainly young people, from their church known as
Bethel Pentecostal Church in Blue Island, Illinois
to Miracle Valley, Arizona to work from Monday
through Friday.
What a blessing these people are to Miracle Valley.
These young people raised their own airfare to
fly from Chicago to Phoenix. Then they rented
vehicles to drive from Phoenix to Miracle Valley.
They brought with them linens, bed sheets, and
pillows to donate to Miracle Valley. Since they
arrived, they have purchased some additional tools,
nails, and plastic for the tabernacle roof.
When they arrived at Miracle Valley, they
immediately went to work helping to remove the old
roofing material on the tabernacle. They also began
removing discarted items in the Men's Dormitory.
Several of these individuals were professional
carpenters. They built stud walls in the Educational
Building.

Greetings!
Peter & Phyllis Contreras have blessed Miracle Valley
greatly this week by bringing some 23 people from
Bethel Church in Blue Island, Illinois to work at
Miracle Valley for five days.
These are wonderful people who had to raise their
own expenses in order to come to Miracle Valley.
Many of them had bake sales and sold dinners at
church, had a tag day on the streets of Blue Island.
In actuality, these kids worked in order to come to
Miracle Valley and work. And my, how they did work.
These wonderful individuals have been a tremendous
blessing to Miracle Valley. We have been honored
that they have come to help us with the work of
God. May God richly bless each and everyone of
them.

Miracle Valley is very special to Peter and Phyllis.
Peter (Blue Island, Illinois) met his wife Phyllis
(North Carolina) at Miracle Valley. Peter attended
Miracle Valley in 1960 and graduated in 1961. Peter
worked for the A. A. Allen Revivals, Inc. in the
Printing Department at Miracle Valley.
Peter's daughter, Audrey, later attended and
graduated from the college at Miracle Valley. Since
the time of their leaving Miracle Valley, the
Contrerases have returned to visit several times each
year. They have watched Miracle Valley pass
through various hands since the early days of Rev.
Allen. Today they see the progress occuring at
Miracle Valley to restore the campus so other
students can also have the same opportunity to
study God's Word and receive ministerial training at
Miracle Valley.

Why not get a group of workers together from your
church and come to Miracle Valley to work for a
week. There are nearly 15 buildings, all of which
nearly need remodeling. Room and board will be
provided to all those who are willing to help restore
Miracle Valley.
