- Finally, to help those of us counting carbs, weve moved to bar graphs instead of pie charts. + eSlides Quick Tip of the Month: Auto Changing Text. Are PowerPoints automatically changing font sizes and text positions interfering with the consistency of your slides? This months tip reveals how easy this can be fixed by modifying the placeholders in the Master slide and layouts. Text placeholders are currently set up to Shrink text on overflow. Change this setting to Do not Autofit. This way, when you type more than what fits, the text will not automatically shrink to fit inside that box. Also, on the Master slide, the Title placeholder has the Vertical Alignment set for Middle, so when the title wraps to a second line, it will not appear to align with those that have a single line of text. Resolve this by selecting Top or Bottom from the Vertical Alignment dropdown menu. Along with these techniques, find a happy medium for the typical amount of content you use on the slides, then make that the largest font size used in your Master slide and layout placeholders. + Have a PowerPoint Question?
