Easily Remove Picture Backgrounds Without Leaving PowerPoint
Now you can remove the background of a picture without ever leaving PowerPoint. Simply follow these steps: >Select the picture > Picture Tools > Format tab > Remove Background. 

The Background Removal tab will pop up and show everything that PowerPoint wants to remove covered in purple. Adjust the Mark Areas box to cover everything that you want to include in your picture. Then click on or drag either the "Mark Areas to Keep" tool (with a plus sign) to keep that part of your image or "Mark Areas to Remove" (with the minus sign) tool to delete those areas. Click on the "Keep Changes" tool to save your work.
