One Legend for Four Pie Charts

We had a question about how to have four pie charts with just one legend below them. Normally, you can turn on the legend and it will show up below the pie, but since this was needed for all four charts at the bottom of the slide, it wasn't that easy. This is where you have to "trick" PowerPoint a little bit.

1) Duplicate one of the pies (copy and paste it onto the slide so it creates the legend).

2) Turn ON the legend for this pie and make the text size of the legend 10 point, so it's small.

3) Delete all the data labels on the pie pieces.

4) Open up the data sheet for this pie and assign "ZERO's" to all the data points in column B. Once you close the data sheet, the pie chart will be hidden.

This leaves you with just a legend showing. Now all you have to do is adjust the size and placement to get the legend to lay out where you want it at the bottom.
