Here's How to Make Sure Your Presentation Looks Good for Your Big Event

Add Animation to Your Charts

Adding the right animation effect to a chart can really help make important data stand out. Bar charts look especially good with a wipe up or wipe right effect. Pie charts can look good with a wheel animation effect. It's essential that you make sure you use the animation effect that makes the most sense with your chart style in order to help visualize your data.

Select the chart you want to animate and follow these steps to create a wipe effect:

1. Choose the Animations tab.

2. Click on Add Animation > Entrance > Wipe.

3. Click the Animation item in the task pane, choose Effect Options.

4. Use the drop-down list to animate your chart with Direction and Sequence effects. You can choose to have your chart elements come in from the bottom, left, right or top slides as well as by one object, by series, by category, by the element in the series or by the element in the category.
