10 Steps to PowerPoint Presentation Slide Design Inspiration
How to Get Creative for Your Next Presentation

In need of a little design inspiration for your upcoming PowerPoint presentation? Got facts and figures that will wow your board but wanting something more than bullet points and bar charts to show them off?

To help you get creative for your next professional PowerPoint presentation, we give you 10 steps to slide design inspiration. See the story here...

Tame the Animation Pane by Renaming Your Shapes
When adding animations to a complex slide, it can be dizzying to keep track of dozens of objects in the Animation Pane with names like "Rectangle 139", "Rectangle 140", "Group 24", "Group 12" etc. - but it's possible to make those anonymous objects manageable by renaming them something more descriptive.

1. SelecHOME -> Select -> Select Selection Pane
This brings up a list of every object on the slide, in order from front to back.
You can use the little arrows at the top of the pane to move shapes forward and backward, and the eye icons to hide or show each shape.

2. Double click on an object name so that the text cursor appears and type in a more descriptive name.

The names will carry over to the Animation Pane and keeping track of all those objects is much easier.
