Many venues are available today 

 

Many venues for advertising are available today. But if you have worked only a few years in the pulp and paper industry, you know that has not always been the case.

 

Not so long ago, if you wanted to tell pulp and paper mills about your product or service, you simply examined four or five magazine publications directed to the North American industry and placed your advertisement in one or more of them. Formats varied, but these publications were monthly magazines. They were generally good examples of industrial journalism and targeted, helpful information. Unfortunately, none of them exist today in their once-praiseworthy forms. The pulp and paper world changed, advertising budgets shrank and paper industry monthly magazines gradually folded.

 

But nature abhors a vacuum, and as the printed advertising vehicles disappeared, the actual number of available advertising venues increased radically. Paperitalo Publications replaced ink with electronics. We make words and images on the Internet tell advertisers' stories without recourse to paper. In an increasing number of cases, the advertisements on our Internet news and features offerings tell the sponsors' stories with sound as well as sight. And the pictures may even be in motion picture form in a video. Video is not a problem on the Internet; on the contrary, it is easy to do. Just ask the people at Paperitalo Publications.
