Employees and advertising

The October theme at Talo Analytic and Paperitalo Publications is "Employees." In all business ventures, the selection, development and retention of the right employees is critical to growth or maintenance of your business. This may mean lateral or vertical movement to utilize their individual skills and experience. Similarly, successful marketing and advertising campaigns entail identifying the right internal or external team to developing the right message, to select the right medium or mediums and review the effectiveness of that campaign or medium and be ready to make changes if necessary.

For businesses whose fiscal year corresponds to the calendar year, managers are busy reviewing the past year's accomplishments and setting goals for the coming year. This process is especially challenging in light of today's highly volatile economy. To add to the challenge of setting budgets is the "use it or lose it" policy whereby if the current year's budget was not fully utilized, the need for a similar allocation of funds the next year is questioned with the result that as the fiscal year end approaches, managers look for creative ways to utilize the remaining funds - new office equipment, software upgrades, temporary and, yes, even short term advertising blitzes in a new arena.

As you consider utilizing those allocated but unspent advertising dollars in your current budget or as you plan for next year, consider looking beyond your traditional outlets. Consider one or several of the Paperitalo family of publications to reach new or existing clients, locally or worldwide.

Our clients have an opportunity to advertise in one or more of several publications directed at specific segments of our industry from mill manages, quality managers, and industry executives to investors and CFOs worldwide. In addition to online publications, e-newsletters, our Pulp & Paper Radio International and the annual Light Green Machine Institute Conference, we have a very real presence and following on LinkedIn and Facebook. Readership of our flagship publications has reached 21,000 touches per day. Your association with the Paperitalo family of publications makes growing your name recognition among prospective clients easier at advertiser friendly rates.

As we look to serve you better, you will see new names appearing in our directory as we develop our team in support of you, our readers and clients.

We look forward to working with YOU.

Our print publications are the highest ranked publications in the pulp and paper industry worldwide according to alexa.com.  We publish our and our major competitors' Alexa rankings each Monday here.
