Habitat for Humanity International is an ecumenical, non-denominational, non-profit home building organization with more than 2,000 affiliates in 117 countries. In Colorado, there are over 30 affiliates of Habitat for Humanity International, who have come together to form the state support organization, Habitat for Humanity of Colorado (HFHC).
HFHC was incorporated in November 1992, and since then HFHC has raised over $16 million in matching funds for local affiliates, funded more than 700 homes, and housed 2,500 people. Habitat home production in the State of Colorado has more than doubled in the past ten years, and funds raised by HFHC account for nearly 30% of building capacity statewide.
