The Department of Psychology at Davidson College is a nationally recognized center of psychological
research and scholarship that continually supports, encourages, and
facilitates the professional development of faculty and staff. As
psychologists, the faculty contribute to their discipline, and maintain a
positive climate of collegiality, collaboration, high standards, and
overall daily excellence within the department, from which faculty and
students benefit both personally and professionally.
PsychSnippets is an e-newsletter for psychology majors, faculty,
staff, interested alumni, and friends of the department. Issues are
released weekly during the academic year and sporadically during the
summer. PsychSnippets keeps our community updated on speakers, research
