Online Advertising      

 

Advertising is important for the success of every business.  An effective advertising campaign can build positive brand recognition that will gain your company customers who would otherwise go to a competitor or not spend at all.  

 

Digital advertising--over the Internet--has arrived as a highly effective advertising venue.  As technology has advanced, customers have chosen to go online through their desktop and laptop computers to find products that satisfy their needs.  If your company has not decided to advertise online, then your company is missing out on a massive number of potential prospects.  

 

According to McKinsey and Company, digital spending on Internet advertising will increase to $60 billion by 2017.  The companies that are engaging in this Internet advertising understand where their prospects are, as well as the importance of advertising in general.  

 

In B2B advertising, your message should get in front of decision makers, people who are looking at computer screens for increasing amounts of time during their workdays. It is clear that highly directive advertising gets your name in front of the right people, the people who sign purchase orders.  Yahoo and Homescan did an advertising study of select clientele from 2002 to 2003 to see if consumers were more likely to buy from these companies because of their online advertising.  Yahoo saw a 15% to 20% sales increase for these companies as a result of their advertising campaigns.  If you are not advertising, how will buyers remember your company when they are in need of your products?

 

More and more businesses are finding success through online advertising. With today's advances in technology, your message can be in front of your target audience at any given moment on any given day. If you choose to remain offline, then you are missing out on communicating with prospects who are online.  Digital advertising will positively affect your sales results and help to grow your bottom line.
