Inventors, OEM, Manufactures of Plastic parts, do you need help or education to produce quality products or solve a current issue?

Steven works with those involved in plastic part manufacturing the world over from his location in the Pacific Northwest.   This can be from the individual struggling to get his first product out of a completed tool to a large OEM needing assistance in getting a new product line out the door.  It could be the molder whom can't process out a defect in the new job,  or the tool maker needing someone to proof a new tool. Processors have been injection moulders, extruders and other . These are just some of the projects/ people we have helped with.

If you are like most in the field of plastic product manufacturing at times an extra set of eyes and hands can solve, eliminate an issue. Such things as why is the part warping, the size changing, parts cracking to the assembled parts do not fit.  Further it could be that the education level of the employees is not high enough to maintain the consistency that is demanded in today's fast pace manufacturing environment.

Manufacturing of plastic parts today has moved from the old simple shoot and ship mentality to more complex shorter runs, which require a higher understanding of our factory and what goes on in it. (the mold is the factory) Solutions such as higher injection speeds, use of balancing systems and scientific molding principles are what Steven employs to solve issues that his clients have. This is by hands on or training personnel to do them.

Results can be repeatable set ups, parts that don't break or warp, higher profits and loss of the daily headaches or issues.

Steven brings 30 plus years of experience to the game, having started at the bottom as a molder, process engineer and then engineering manager but with the knowledge of a degree in technology with a plastic and metals emphasis. 20 of those 30 plus years was spent on the road traveling and solving problems in multiples plants per week for various clients first as a Technical service engineer for a resin distributor and since 2003 as an independent consultant.  Issues such as what material, how do we design the tool to how we solve for this or that issue related to part quality, production yields, product introduction, to representing the OEM in the 3rd party manufacturing environments.
