School Joins Trade Mission to Brazil as it Strengthens Ties in Latin America

Dean Gene Anderson and other representatives from the School of Business were among nearly 200 business, government and community leaders who took part in a seven-day trade mission to Brazil this fall. The trip, led by Enterprise Florida Inc. and Florida Governor Rick Scott, was an effort to promote and continue building business relationships between Florida and the largest country in South America.

CFOs have taken on a critical strategic role within their organizations, especially with regard to health care costs and health care reform. That is according to Steven G. Ullmann, director of the School's programs in health sector management and policy, who addressed the new role of the CFO during a roundtable discussion this month in Miami.
