What a year it has been in Baltimore, MD for the team at North Oaks! A big High Five goes out to Marketing Director, Cindy Wolf (wolfcindy@northoaks.net); Residency Counselors Vicki Kahn (kahnvicki@northoaks.net) and Pamela Wegner (wegnerpam@northoaks.net) and Marketing Assistant, Lisa Adams Tyus (adamslisa@northoaks.net)for exceeding their annual sales, closing, occupancy and covenant goals! The holiday season and tricky winter weather could not hold back this team as they managed to accomplish 7 closings in December (not to mention that 3 of these occurred between Christmas and New Year!!). While 2012 was awesome, the team is geared up in planning events to celebrate the culmination of major renovations in January to kick the year off right to achieve our 2013 goals.

 

The Holidays arrived early at Timber Ridge in Issaquah, WA. Residency Counselor, Don Warfield (warfielddon@timberridgelcs.com) used the Power of Five to obtain 4 sales in December, and met or exceeded all his DSPIs! Well done, Don!

 

Even in the cool of the desert, things were sizzling at Sagewood in Phoenix, AZ! Residency Counselor, Nancy Schnurr (schnurrnancy@sagewoodlcs.com) brought in 3 sales to add to the holiday cheer.

 

Summer may be over, but it's still sunny in California. The Continuing Life™ communities heated up for winter with a record-breaking December performance. In Northern California, Stoneridge Creek (Pleasanton, CA) finished December with 8 sales, which brings them to over 74% pre-sold of their 414 Phase I Independent Living residences - 414! In Southern California, Morningside of Fullerton had 15 sales - breaking their record of 13 sales that was set just a few months ago! La Costa Glen in Carlsbad, CA finished the year at over 98% occupancy thanks to the 10 move-ins during December! Move-In Coordinator, Dori McLaurin (mclaurind@lacostaglen.com) was very busy! The team also had 10 sales and finished over 99% sold thanks to Sales Manager, Connie Hellyer (hellyerc@lacostaglen.com); Director of Marketing, Warren Spieker (SpiekerW@lacostaglen.com); Marketing Representatives Carolynn Jones (carolynnj@lacostaglen.com), Christina Kenner (kennerc@lacotsaglen.com), Sue Barbato (barbatos@lacostaglen.com), Blake Johnson (johnsonb@lacostaglen.com), Cindy Keune (keunec@lacostaglen.com); Marketing Coordinator, Kelly Rusthoven (rusthovenk@lacostaglen.com) and Administrative Assistant/Receptionist in Sales and Marketing, Robin Wright (lcglen@lacostaglen.com). University Village Thousand Oaks (Thousand Oaks, CA) was not content just to close out 2012 at 100% occupancy. Their average occupancy was 99.4% for the year thanks to a median rollover of just 12 days - way to go Marketing/Move-In Coordinator, Patia Olson (olsonp@uvto.com). Oh, and they finished December with 16 sales! A particular shout-out to Marketing Representative, Sandie Turgeon (turgeons@uvto.com) who had 7 of them. Way to go Director of Marketing, Ernie Sandlin (sandline@uvto.com); Marketing Representatives Donna Bamber (bamberd@uvto.com), Ramona Spradling (spradlingr@uvto.com), Joel Ritz (ritzj@uvto.com), and Marketing Assistant/Receptionist, Ashley Villarreal (marketingreception@uvto.com). A big shout out to Executive Director, Ryan Exline (exlineryan@lcsnet.com) for the guidance at the community to make the sales process a little bit easier!

 

The marketing and sales team at East Ridge at Miami, FL show no signs of slowing down. Sales Director, Rick Drew (RDrew@EastRidgeatCutlerBay.com); Residency Counselors Iris Baker (IBaker@EastRidgeatCutlerBay.com), Norris Petty (NPetty@EastRidgeatCutlerBay.com), Pedro Chacon (pchacon@eastridgeatcutlerbay.com) and Marketing Coordinator, Jenny Inigo (jinigo@eastridgeatcutlerbay.com) brought 2012 to a close with 4 more sales and 7 more closings! Even with a bit of slow start in 2012, this team has worked up ahead of steam and ended the year with a strong performance of 36 sales and 30 closings. Congratulations on this much deserved success. Good luck comes to those who work hard, and this hardworking team is looking forward to good fortune and even greater success in 2013!

 

Harrogate in Lakewood, NJ continues their smoking hot sales streak, rounding out 2012 with a HUGE month for sales and closings. In December, this amazing team booked 6 more sales and a whopping 13 closings, thus wrapping up 2012 with a total of 53 sales and 40 closings. Lifecare Consultants, Valerie Jacoby (Jacoby@hgate.org), Betty Zivelonghi (bzivenlonghi@hgate.org), David O'Brien (dobrien@hgate.org); Marketing Coordinator, Jodie Medhaug (jmedhaug@hgate.org) and Marketing and Sales Director, Kevin Fletcher (kfletcher@hgate.org) never cease to amaze!! Congratulations to Harrogate for a truly outstanding performance. There is just no stopping this team.

 

All we can say is "WOW"!!!! "WOW" stands for the Westminster Outstanding Wonders. The Westminster marketing and sales team in Austin, TX had another outstanding month in December with 4 sales and 11 closings. That totals 15 sales and 16 closings in the last two months! With these kinds of numbers, the team exceeded their annual sales goal by 20% (53 sales) and their annual closing goal by 9% (102 closings). This team is truly a top performing team! Congratulations to Director of Sales and Marketing, Heather Hart-Potts (heather@wmanor.com); Marketing Coordinator, Jenny Brown (jennyb@wmanor.com) and Residency Counselors Megan Padden Hamilton (megan@wmanor.com) and Allison Vanderford (Allison@wmanor.com) for the relentless work and drive to achieve these successes and exceed goal.

At Casa de las Campanas in San Diego, CA we are focused on The Power of Five. That's our goal, to average a minimum of 5 closings per month. The marketing team meets weekly to review strategies and keep closings top of mind. Our current fiscal YTD results, August through December are 5.2 closings per month! We also achieved an average of 5.2 closings for the 2012 calendar year.

  

The marketing team at Capital Manor in Salem, OR focused on the ENERGY of FIVE

residents for two different events in December.
  • 5 residents were asked to invite a friend (otherwise reluctant to schedule an appointment) to a referral dinner where marketing representatives were able to get to know the prospects better and answer questions about the community.
  • 5 different residents were asked to serve as members on a panel at a holiday luncheon. They answered a series of questions about why they moved to Capital Manor, what advice they would give prospects and what they wish they would have known before they moved in.

Both events resulted in a sale, 2 of the 7 made in the month of December!

The Gardens of Germantown in Germantown, TN ended their fiscal year by meeting their occupancy target! Marketing Director, Lisa Bobal (LBobal@GardensofGermantown.com) and Executive Director, Kathy Garbus (KGarbus@GardensofGermantown.com) have been working hard to learn and utilize the CRSA systems and procedures, but have not lost focus of the task at hand and will start the year on target! Way to go Gardens of Germantown...way to end the year!

 

Galloway Ridge in Pittsboro, NC worked REALLY hard in December to meet their end of year occupancy covenant goals! Marketing Director, Leslie Dyess (leslie@gallowayridge.com); Sales Counselor, Whitney Harris (wharris@gallowayridge.com); Sales Counselor, Randy East; Move-In Coordinator, Ashley Carver (ashley@gallowayridge.com) and Marketing Assistant, Gail Jacks (gail@gallowayridge.com) strategized with Executive Director, Heather Rusnak (hrusnak@gallowayridge.com) to use all their energy to end the year strong......and they did with 5 total sales and 12 total closings in December plus a move-in for The Arbors Assisted Living!! This team has already INVESTED in making 2013 great!

Sagewood had 18 sales in the 4th quarter and is looking forward to a busy New Year. High Fives and two more to the team at Capital Manor in Salem, OR for 7 sales in December! It is very common for sales in December to be rather measly, but Marketing Director, Leilani Slama (lslama@capitalmanor.com); Marketing Representative, Tom Byron (tbyron@capitalmanor.com) and Sales Representative, Maria Cooley (mcooley@capitalmanor.com) broke the ceiling with a great month! Executive Director, David Lewis (lewisdavid@lcsnet.com) says, "This success is a result of the entire Capital Manor team. Every department takes some credit, as well as LCS and the board. Of course, the leaders in this would be our marketing and sales staff: Leilani, Tom and Maria. They have been creative, persistent and genuine with every person they work with."

This is an awesome achievement! Katie's dedication to Vantage House (Columbia, MD) is unwavering and has been for over 20 years! It is also advised to use these calls as a way to answer any questions you may have as a follow up to the online C3 Leads Training Modules.
