Congratulations to Marketing Director, Elizabeth O'Connor (eoconnor@blakehurst.com) and Marketing Assistant, Meg Castillitto (mcastillitto@blakehurst.com) from Blakehurst in Towson, MD for an amazing March with 5 closings! With all of the closings and renovations planned, there is nothing that can stop the dynamic duo in 2012. Great job Meg and Elizabeth.  

 

Team Wyndemere has done it once again! Kudos to the team for taking care of business while Judy has been out for a few weeks. Special props to Executive Director, Erin Donaldson (donaldsonerin@wyndemerelcs.com) for managing to help us hit our first quarter occupancy covenant. The dream team comes up big again.  

 

A warm winter is nothing compared to how team North Oaks in Baltimore, MD is heating up. The team of Director of Sales, Cindy Wolf (wolfcindy@northoaks.net); Residency Counselor,  Vicki Kahn (kahnvicki@northoaks.net) and Marketing Assistant, Lisa Adams Tyus (adamslisa@northoaks.net) could not be stopped in the first quarter, and brought in 8 deposits!! All of these buyers are on the "Lisa move-in plan" and will be living at North Oaks before they know it. The team is excited about what is yet to come in 2012. Buckle up...the North Oaks train is moving fast!

 

Congratulations to the Friendship Village Columbus (Columbus, OH) sales team of Marketing Director,  Dawn Ruppel (druppel@fvcolumbus.com); Residency Counselor, Neil Edelson (NEdelson@fvcolumbus.com); Residency Counselor, Erin Mihalik  (emihalik@fvcolumbus.com); and Marketing Assistant, Pat Boehm (pboehm@fvcolumbus.com) for a fabulous month of March. The North Manchester, IN team at Peabody Retirement Community had an outstanding month with 2 IL sales and 3 AL sales for a Big 5 for the month of March. Congratulations to Marketing Director, Sue Roesner (susan.roesner@peabodyrc.org); Residency Counselor, Angie Woolard  (Angela.woolard@PeabodyRC.org); and Marketing Assistant, Leona Campbell Leona.Campbell@PeabodyRC.org) for a great month. Your enthusiasm and dedication are very much appreciated!

 

HUGE congratulations goes out to sunny San Diego and the Casa de las Campanas marketing and sales team which includes Marketing and Sales Director, Marge Pronovost (pronovost@cdlc.com), Residency Counselors, Caryn Outwater (outwater@cdlc. com) and Monique Neal (neal@cdlc.com); and Marketing Coordinator, Lydia Tucker Clark (tucker.clark@cdlc.com) who achieved 21 sales and 16 closings this quarter. This resulted in close to $6 million of Entrance Fees!!! This team has been working diligently for months with current buyers to get them closed, and the team has stopped at nothing to make that happen, in addition to using Elderlife Financial Concierge to call upon when necessary to fund loans at closing. In addition,, they are building their pipeline for several more months of strong closings that will add another $1 million in buyers that are approved for funding at closing.  Great job Casa team!!!!

Business is blooming at Cottage Grove Place! The marketing team created urgencies by offering "Spring" move-in incentives which included early close discounts and moving assistance. They obtained 5 deposits, 3 closings, 2 move-ins and 1 rental placing the community at 95% sold.  

 

The Friendship Village of Columbus team took the month of January to focus on velocity and increase phone outs - 761 total! The additional effort with meeting with prospects on weekends and late evenings assisted in 53 appointments and the focus on 3 small group seminars in March....  lead to the result of 5 sales and 4 additional deposits!

 

Friendship Village Dublin's achievement utilized all 5 of the 5's: Each marketing counselor arranged with 4 resident floor representatives to attend their quarterly resident floor meetings to talk about the importance of resident referrals. They then sent invitations to the residents of each floor to remind them of the meeting, encourage them to attend, share an overview of the Resident Referral Program and let them know refreshments would be served. They are now expecting an increase in referrals as resident attendance was higher than usual, according to the floor reps and the counselors had the attention of about 125 residents in total while making the case for resident referrals.   

 

The Sedgebrook sales team invested supercharged Energy with high speed Velocity delivering outstanding results: (6) sales, (5) closings, (1) move-in and (258) Zillner Questionnaires returned, enabling next step phone outs and appointments, (60) completed personal appointments and, last but not least, (8) home visits which proved to be the "tipping point" for  (2) "hot prospects"  who closed with 10% commitments. Bravo Team Sedgebrook!

Director of Marketing, Heather Potts (heather@wmanor.com); Residency Counselor, Allison Vanderford (Allison@wmanor.com); Personalizations and Event Coordinator, Jenny Brown (jennyb@wmanor.com) and Marketing Assistant, Megan Hamilton, Marketing Assistant (megan@wmanor.com) of Westminster Manor in Austin, TX are proving that they're not done with showcasing their amazing skillsets in managing move-ins for their new expansion. March held yet another strong month with 16 closings, with 6 additional sales on the books. All we can say is "WOW" to this powerful team who have proven that 'Best Practices' and The Power of Five works to accomplish your goals. Hats off to you!!!!

Director of Marketing and Sales, Linda Young (lyoung@gambrillgardens.com) of Gambrill Gardensin Ellisville, MO accomplished yet another strong month, finishing up with a total of 8 sales and 9 closings for the month of March. Keep up the fantastic work and dedication to your community! Congratulations!

 

Congratulations to the sales team at East Ridge Retirement Village in Miami, FL for an outstanding sales month! Interim Marketing Director, Chris Francis (CFrancis@eastridgerc.com); Residency Counselor, Iris Baker (ibaker@eastridgerc.com);  Residency Counselor, Pedro Chacon (PChacon@eastridge.com); Residency Counselor, Susan Braley (sbraley@eastridgerc.com); and Marketing Coordinator, Jennifer Inigo (JInigo@eastridgerc.com) put their skills and talents into action and totaled a stellar 4 sales for the month of March. But, it's not just 4 sales that made this such an exciting month...it's the fact that Pedro gained his first sale and Iris obtained 2  sales! A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS goes out to Team East Ridge!!!!

 

Congratulations to Marketing Coordinator, Sarah Moulton (moultonsarah@lcsnet.com) at Province Place DePaul in Norfolk, VA,.  InShe not only had 5 sales, but also 5 move-ins. And, with all the hard work and dedication Province Place DePaul is now one resident ahead of budget. Sarah sticks to her outreach plan each week and continues to be creative in finding the next professional referral who will send her a new resident. And, backing Sarah up each day is Administrator, David Dybel (dybeldavid@lcsnet.com), who is always focused on occupancy.  

 

As outreach efforts have been "kicked up" a notch, the pay-off has been a good one for Province Place at Maryview in Portsmouth, VA. Marketing Coordinator, Christel Hoy (hoychristel@lcsnet.com) had 6 sales in March, all with move-in dates with the next 30 days. Staying optimistic has been a key factor in Christel's successful month. April is shaping up to be a busy month as well. Interim Administrator, Chris Newport (newportc@vantagehouse.org) has also been a driving force, as he is always willing to help and get involved. Congratulations to Christel and Chris.  

  

Things are heating up in the nation's capital, as the team at The Residences of Thomas Circle closed 7 sales in the month of March. The successful team of Residency Counselor, Dominique Khan (kahndominique@thomascircle.com); Marketing Coordinator, Liza Kahn (kahneliza@thomascircle.com) and Marketing Director, Erin Armstrong (armstrongerin@thomascircle.com) have stayed focused on the goal of increasing appointment traffic and have had more than 30 appointments with prospects in both February and March. The hard work and busy days are creating great rewards. Congratulations to the sales and marketing team and to Executive Director, Angie Layfield (layfieldangie@thomascircle.com).

  

The first quarter of 2012 has been record breaking in Wilmington, NC as the sales and marketing team at Plantation Village once again has a month with 5 sales. This is the second month they have achieved this mark; it is going to be a great year! The hard work, enthusiasm and dedication of Sales Counselor, Sheila Seese (sseese@plantionvillagenc.org), Marketing Coordinator, Becky Grogan (bgrogan@plantationvillagenc.org) and Marketing Director, Lisa Polanski (lpolanski@plantationvillagenc.org) continues to drive this successful team. Congratulations to all, including Executive Director, Greg Woodward (gwoodward@plantationvillagenc.org).  

  

The madness in March didn't distract the team at Galloway Ridge at Fearrington (Pittsboro, NC).  The team of Marketing Director, Leslie Dyess (leslie@gallowayridge.com); Marketing Assistant, Gail Jacks (gail@gallowayridge.com); Sales Counselor, Caroline Werner (cwerner@gallowayridge.com) and Move-In Coordinator, Ashley Craver (acraver@gallowayridge.com) had an amazing month of 5 sales (4 in phase 2 and 1 in phase 1), along with 11 move-ins. The team pulled together to keep momentum strong and score big by the end of the month. Way to go Galloway Ridge!

 

The Pennybyrn at Maryfield (High Point,NC(? what state ?)) team remained strong in the month on March, with 3 sales and 9 move-ins. This is great news as they kept their focus, and were able to beat the sales convenant by 3 and their occupancy goal by 2....  That's AMAZING! Great job to Marketing Director, Jeanne La Roe (jlaroe@pbmccrc.com); Sales Counselor, Shannon Norman (snorman@pbmccrc.com); Outreach Coordinator, Pamela Olson (polson@pbmccrc.com) and Marketing Assistant, Mary Anne Carter (mcarter@pbmccrc.com).   

 

March was a scorcher at Green Country Village in Bartlesville, OK. A blistering congratulations to Marketing Director, Edith Francis (francisedith@greencountryvillage.com) for the 5 sales and 2 move-ins in March, finishing up the quarter with 9 sales. Although Edith is the only employee in the marketing department, she receives support from many others in the community. Executive Director, Mike Pelzer (pelzermike@lcsnet.com) and Admin/Resident Services Director, Hillary Smith (smithhillary@greencountryvillage.com) have supported Edith to allow her to concentrate on the sales process. Congratulations to the team at Green Country Village!

 

Cedar Rapids, IA is known as the City of Five Seasons. As of March 31, a 6th Season of Success has officially been named at Cottage Grove Place. Also, congratulations to the Closing Coordinator, Beth Mader (maderbeth@sagewoodlcs.com) for exceeding the closing goal for the first quarter.

GREAT JOB and congrats goes out to the Capital Manor sales team in Salem, OR who just came together this quarter with 2 new Residency Counselors, Tom Byron (tbyron@capitalmanor.com) and Maria Cooley (mcooley@capitalmanor.com) who both attended IL Sales Training last month and BOTH made their first 2 sales already!!! Of course, their leader and Director of Marketing and Sales, Leilani Slama (lslama@capitalmanor.com) has guided their way and brought the community to close this quarter with 14 sales and 9 closings.  Nice job Capital Manor team!
