Something to think about...
The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can't find them, make them.

With Meadow Ridge in Redding, CT celebrating 10 years, they are also experiencing fairly high attrition with permanent assignments to assisted living or the Health Center. In addition, 6 of the residents gave notice to move out for a variety of reasons. By focusing on residents' needs, the marketing and sales team made numerous (way more than 5!!!) phone calls to family members to set up meetings to talk through their decision. The MR Team was able to provide a few incentives and saved 3 residents from moving out of the community.
The Power of Five has resulted in making the team at The Assisi Health Care Center at Clare Oaks in Bartlett, IL keep top of mind sale productive activities as first priority so they are truly focused. Also, they have now started discussing 'Hots', current tour activity for the week and next steps with the ultimate goal of a move-in during their weekly marketing meetings.
The Friendship Village of Dublin in Dublin, OH team wanted to invest some energy in hosting 2 small events. The expected attendance was 5 prospects for each event. However, the topic chosen delivered 5 times the expected number, for a total of 50 guests for the 2 events.
To achieve 5 sales in September the marketing team at The Heritage at Brentwood in Brentwood, TN followed 5 sales skills they were taught: with a push from The Power of Five:
- Thorough discovery
- Using the CDA in the qualification process
- Strategic follow up to the next step
- Creating urgency with incentives
- Asking for the deposit!
Velocity: The team at Sandhill Cove in Palm City, FL continually assesses inventory and updates wait list members and leads on upcoming inventory in advance. This way, they can start preparing even before the inventory becomes available. This helped close Mr. and Mrs. Wright as psychologically, they were ready 6 weeks before the unit opened and had fewer objections at the time of offer.
Investment:: A couple, Mr. and Mrs. McCulloch, deposited on an apartment...though Mr. McCulloch seemed a bit apprehensive. Mrs. McCulloch is an artist and left the state for a photography trip the following week after placing the deposit. Sandhill Cove delivered dinner to Mr. McCulloch's home with the help of the Food and Beverage Department and Security to transport the meal. He was dazzled at the hospitality and learned very quickly how nice it is to experience restaurant-style dining. It really put the term "care-free lifestyle" in perspective".
