Team North Oaks in Baltimore, MD has done it again! The dynamic duo of Marketing Director, Elizabeth O'Connor (eoconnor@blakehurst.com) and Marketing Assistant, Meg Castellitto (mcastellitto@blakehurst.com) have been busy with 4 sales in October and exceeding their net sales and closings goal. The Power of Five is alive with focus and a high sense of energy, which helps make Blakehurst the place to be in Towson, MD.
There was no trickery to achieve the great treat of being above budgeted occupancy at Cottage Grove Place in Cedar Rapids, IA. Congratulations to Marketing Director, Michelle Milcoff (mmilcoff@cottagegroveplace.com) and Sales Coordinator, MaryAnn Snyder (msnyder@cottagegroveplace.com) who started the year at 89.16% occupied and ended October at 96.39% occupied. The lofty goal was to achieve just under 96% by year's end. Knowing these two, 100% sold looks like a very attainable year-end goal.
Marketing Representative, Jan Gruebmeyer (gruebmeyerjan@fvtaz.com) at Friendship Village Tempe (Tempe, AZ) was not spooking around when she made 7 sales in October. So far in 2012, Jan has made 33 sales and isn't stopping there. Jan has been consistently making sales and helping the occupancy at Friendship Village Tempe for over 21 years. She probably has personally filled every one of the 575 independent living apartments and garden homes at the community. We'll elect her to another 21 years with production like that!
University Village Thousand Oaks in Thousand Oaks, CA enjoyed a terrific month in October, achieving 5 sales, 6 move-ins and 100% occupancy for a record 5th time in 2012! The Power of Five is alive and well at Chester Village West in Chester, CT. New Executive Director, Bob Taylor (rtaylor@chestervillagewestlcs.com); Marketing Director, Marian Bairstow (bairstowmarian@chestervillagewestlcs.com) and Marketing Assistant, Brenda Kollmer (kollmerbrenda@chestervillagewestlcs.com) have been working hard to implement some new programs at Chester Village West to add value to residents and prospects. In the last 60 days, the team has 1) initiated some great press coverage; 2) started a resident walking program "Walking for the Health of it"; 3) implemented WiFi and Skype services; 4) instituted new outdoor dining options and menus; and 5) Initiated a Travel Cultural Series so that residents may experience various parts of the world without purchasing a ticket. We know all of your energy and enthusiasm will soon pay off!
After a soft sales month in September, the team at La Costa Glen in Carlsbad, CA committed to making a minimum of 5 extra appointments per person for the month. And it worked - they had 20 extra appointments for the month! The team finished with 13 sales, 7 move-ins, and 97% occupancy. Of particular note was Marketing Representative, Carolynn Jones (carolynnj@lacostaglen.com) whose individual achievements would be the envy of most whole departments - 8 sales for the month! Congratulations to Carolyn and Marketing Representatives Christina Kenner (kennerc@lacostaglen.com), Blake Johnson (johnsonb@lacostaglen.com) and Sue Barbato (barbatos@lacostaglen.com); and Residency Counselor, Cindy Keune (keunec@lacostaglen.com) for putting the Power of Five to work.
