In this Issue: Two Summer Events About Economics and Human Rights ******* |
Greetings!
Professional economists are often very nice people, but don't ask them what they do for a living! And even when the economy is "doing well", they will always tell you that the "correction" is just around the corner, and "only the paranoid will survive." It's no wonder that people often use the adjective "dismal" when speaking of economics.
In this issue, we are pleased to post notices of two summer events that will challenge our conventional thinking about economics and human rights, and help to get us moving! So take a break from your holiday (hey, you're probably still hooked up to your office anyway), and plan to attend.
Sincerely,
Mark

Cosmogramme Workshop - 27/28 August
| | Dear Geopuncture Geosophists!
As posted previously, Marko Pogacnik will be visiting again this Fall. In preparation, we have been contemplating our theme arising from two parallel stories: the Neolithic European Grail Myth and the Iroquois Creation Myth of Sky Woman.
The next step leading to the October consmogramme installation is a carving workshop on 27/28 August. At that time, there will also be further opportunity for conversation/exploration of the cosmogramme as a form of communication with the soul of the earth. If you are interested in participating in the workshop, please read this letter , and contact us by 25 July. |
