Greetings!
Living more deeply with the seasons, we can break out of our everyday patterns and experience a radical shift in our thinking:
Surrendered to the senses' revelation
I lost the drive of self existence,
And dream of thought bewildering,
It seemed to rob me of myself,
But waking, now comes near
In senses' shining, cosmic thinking.
- Calendar of the Soul by Rudolf Steiner, Verse 14 (Summer) translated by Daisy Aldan
In this issue, read about how the Summer of 2011 is taking shape on our campus.
Sincerely,
Mark |

Summer Sky in Stone
| |
- with Greg Scott
Image From Greg's Winter workshop |
Explore the life of clouds through stone carving. Clouds are wonderful to watch as they move across the sky creating playful and often ominous forms. What builds these beautiful forms? Through careful observation and reflection, we hope to witness the underlying formative gestures guiding the formation of clouds. We will be observing and sketching clouds, making small studies in clay and then carving in stone.
The Living Sky is one of many courses offered at the Encounters With Imagination Festival in July at the Rudolf Steiner Centre. Full Festival Details.
