LOVE AND BASKETBALL
D.E. PAULK
Love and Basketball

In a recent message I taught, I used a basketball as an analogy for the way we, as humans, should express our love for each other. Our human minds like to think in a linear fashion...a straight line where there is a definite beginning, middle and end. However, through studying nature, God's creation, we begin to understand that God does not think nor create in a straight line. Almost everything He made is spherical, just like a basketball. All of nature runs in a cycle; planting, growth, harvesting, fallow ground, back to planting. The planets, all being circular themselves, also orbit around the sun in a circular fashion. The earth rotates on its axis causing all of humanity to come into and go out of both light and darkness in each 24 hour period. Until the moment of our physical death, the very blood in our veins completes endless circuits throughout our body, comes back through the heart and begins the cycle again. The shape of a circle represents endlessness and eternity.

No matter how good an athlete you are, or how quickly you try to spin it, if you are holding a basketball in your own hands, you can never see the entire surface of the ball at the same time. You can only see that part which is in front of your eyes. In order to get the "full" picture of the ball, you must ask someone on the other side of the ball to tell you what they see from their angle. That is the nature of spheres.

I like to compare the various religions to people standing around a basketball. No one religion contains all of God's truth. Each has its own truths. In order to get a more complete vision of who God really is, we all need each other. I need to share with you what I see on my portion of the sphere and you need to share with me the part of God that is in front of your eyes.

We all have a piece of the truth, but in order to put the pieces together, we must share with each other. And sharing is what love is all about.

Affirmation for 2012

2012 will be a year of order and design in my life.
In 2012, the chaos in my life will surrender to order.
In 2012, the disorganization in my life is about to be overwhelmed by structure & discipline.
This year I will allow myself to be mentored into promotion & increase.
The failures of 2011 only exist in my mind to remind me of the wisdom I have gained.
In 2012, I am open, ready and willing for God's favor to follow me and lead me as I walk into my destiny.
I am healthy, wealthy and wise.
I am in balance and in order. 2012 will be the greatest year of my life.

I Don't Know...The Way of Knowing

by D.E. Paulk

I Don't Know is the required confession needed to be granted admission to the path of enlightenment and to The Way of Knowing. I Know is conclusive, ending, finite and therefore devastating. I Know is an enemy of immortality and nemesis to The Way of Knowing. We are all infinite spirits and the offspring of the Infinite Creator. When we discover the I Don't Know within we unleash our Infinite nature and unearth the Endless Us! Are you ready to put on immortality?

All Truth flows to us from One Divine River . From that One River many wells form and are fed. We might call these wells religions, cultures or philosophies. All wells sustained by the One River contain beauty and truth. However, we make a grave mistake when we declare any particular well as being the One River. I Don't Know dissolves religious division, bridges cultural chasms and dodges philosophical divorce originating from the I Know. I Don't Know is the Repairer of the Breach. In a day when the I Know is to be charged with so much human suffering - I Don't Know shines brightly as an ancient idea whose time has come of age.  $20 ($30 for two)

The Holy Bible of Inclusion

by D.E. Paulk

If you are like me you have struggled to accept the modern Christian church's portrayal (or betrayal) of God, depiction of the devil and description of hell. Many god-fearing people and good-hearted preachers alike have long harbored unspoken thoughts of a more loving, merciful and masterful Creator. However, just about as many who subscribe to this grander vision and version of God also admittedly and even ashamedly lack the ability to reference the Bible and specific passages of scripture in order to publicly validate these privately held higher concepts of God.

If you are looking for chapter and verse that will both quickly and completely rescue a big God from the smallness of fundamentalism,THE HOLY BIBLE OF INCLUSION is precisely the tool you need!

THE HOLY BIBLE OF INCLUSION will scripturally, extensively and even exhaustively confront theological myths, misrepresentations and mistranslations of the Bible and its Origins - Universal Salvation - the devil - the Purpose of hell and the Fire of God - Sexual Orientation and many others. Join me on this worthwhile and rewarding spiritual journey as we research, rethink, recover and then re-present the awesome and awe-inspiring God of the universe.  $20 ($30 for two)

Until next week, remember... Truth is a Journey - Not a Destination!

Pro-Love,

D.E. was interviewed by Jesse Herriott, host of Unity Online Radio's Show "Living on Purpose" with Unity.FM (www.unity.fm/). The discussion was, "Revisioning the Christ Path." There are many folks that have walked away from Christianity as a whole, and disregarded it as a path to God because of church abuse, and fundamentalism. How do D.E. & Brandi and the Spirit and Truth Family re-brand, re-image, and reintroduce the Christ principle from the perspective of an expanded awareness and metaphysical point of view, and helping to keep it alive in our generation, and for future generations?
