TRUSTING GOD
D.E. PAULK
Trusting God

Especially in times of trouble throughout our lives, we are often told by others, "Just trust God." The question is, how, exactly, do we do this? I say trusting God is no more and no less than trusting the spirit of God working in you; that still small voice speaking to your heart; the voice of your conscience. Allow me to give you a very personal example.

Approximately six weeks ago I got some very bad news about the church building we had been renting for three years; saving money, working toward purchasing. It was a bank owned property and before we could get a down payment together, another congregation outbid us and we were informed we must move. I was personally devastated. I drove off the property that day not knowing where in the world we would go. I was having quite a pity party, blaming everything and everyone I could think of. But finally, instead of fighting "what was" I decided to simply keep putting one foot in front of the other and see where that would lead me.

I went home and pulled up Google. I put in simply "churches for sale." The first website it gave me contained on the first page the building we just moved into and held our first services in this week. Let me back up a bit. I saw the church for sale on the website was only five miles from our present location and seemed to be within our price range. The next day I drove to the property and walked around it. I immediately felt "at home." I drove back to our current location and shared the information with some staff members. We pulled the website up and to my great surprise, the price had come down $300,000 from the previous day.

The very next day we were touring the property with a real estate agent. During the course of our conversation we found out he was a member of Spiritual Living Center of Atlanta, led by Pastor David Ault, a very good friend of mine with a like-minded mission. By the end of the month we were closing on the property. From the day I drove away from our previous location devastated until the day we enjoyed our very first service in our brand new sanctuary, we experienced so many other instances of divine favor from the financing to the parking lot issues.

The point is this - every day of your life is both the best of times and the worst of times depending on how you choose to perceive it. If you see life as a battle, you will always be fighting. If you see life as a journey, all you have to do is keep walking. If you will do this, when one door closes, another will open. When one job, relationship, etc. ends, another one will be along shortly.

Trusting God is trusting the godly intention that's working in your heart; the Christ Consciousness that is trying to win over your mind; the energy that's happening around you; the natural flow of the universe...and most of all...continuing to walk.

Affirmation for 2012

2012 will be a year of order and design in my life.
In 2012, the chaos in my life will surrender to order.
In 2012, the disorganization in my life is about to be overwhelmed by structure & discipline.
This year I will allow myself to be mentored into promotion & increase.
The failures of 2011 only exist in my mind to remind me of the wisdom I have gained.
In 2012, I am open, ready and willing for God's favor to follow me and lead me as I walk into my destiny.
I am healthy, wealthy and wise.
I am in balance and in order. 2012 will be the greatest year of my life.

I Don't Know...The Way of Knowing

by D.E. Paulk

I Don't Know is the required confession needed to be granted admission to the path of enlightenment and to The Way of Knowing. I Know is conclusive, ending, finite and therefore devastating. I Know is an enemy of immortality and nemesis to The Way of Knowing. We are all infinite spirits and the offspring of the Infinite Creator. When we discover the I Don't Know within we unleash our Infinite nature and unearth the Endless Us! Are you ready to put on immortality?

All Truth flows to us from One Divine River . From that One River many wells form and are fed. We might call these wells religions, cultures or philosophies. All wells sustained by the One River contain beauty and truth. However, we make a grave mistake when we declare any particular well as being the One River. I Don't Know dissolves religious division, bridges cultural chasms and dodges philosophical divorce originating from the I Know. I Don't Know is the Repairer of the Breach. In a day when the I Know is to be charged with so much human suffering - I Don't Know shines brightly as an ancient idea whose time has come of age.  $20 ($30 for two)

The Holy Bible of Inclusion

by D.E. Paulk

If you are like me you have struggled to accept the modern Christian church's portrayal (or betrayal) of God, depiction of the devil and description of hell. Many god-fearing people and good-hearted preachers alike have long harbored unspoken thoughts of a more loving, merciful and masterful Creator. However, just about as many who subscribe to this grander vision and version of God also admittedly and even ashamedly lack the ability to reference the Bible and specific passages of scripture in order to publicly validate these privately held higher concepts of God.

If you are looking for chapter and verse that will both quickly and completely rescue a big God from the smallness of fundamentalism,THE HOLY BIBLE OF INCLUSION is precisely the tool you need!

THE HOLY BIBLE OF INCLUSION will scripturally, extensively and even exhaustively confront theological myths, misrepresentations and mistranslations of the Bible and its Origins - Universal Salvation - the devil - the Purpose of hell and the Fire of God - Sexual Orientation and many others. Join me on this worthwhile and rewarding spiritual journey as we research, rethink, recover and then re-present the awesome and awe-inspiring God of the universe.  $20 ($30 for two)

Until next week, remember... Truth is a Journey - Not a Destination!

Pro-Love,
