Thornton Creek News is a Site Council program, funded by parent and community donations. The Communications Committee oversees this program and determines the content.
Priorities for newsletter items: Site
Council news and sponsored programs, events and meeting minutes; school
administration announcements; staff and teacher programs, news and
events; Bulletin Board announcements (including website postings) of
interest to the school community on a space-available basis (see below
for restrictions).
Per Seattle Public School Board Policy, outside materials must be approved before being distributed. The materials must meet district criteria, be approved by the Office of Public Affairs, and must be pre-printed and delivered to the school with an approval form.
