First I want to acknowledge that the very clever "Making the absent present and the present absent" was originally shared by my facebook friend Neus Vila Brunet.
If you have been in class these past few weeks you are aware that I am emphasizing a special breathing technique that allows us to experience this altered state of awareness during our practice together.
This short video on breathing was found and shared by alleyCat Yoga teacher Rebecca Peters and I agree with how it explains why yoga works in the way it does and other activities, although having value in their own right, don't.
