SALES ACTIVITY CONTINUES TO SURPASS 2012

Closed sales in the month of July continued to out pace last year.  There were 779 closings this year compared to 603 last year.  Pending sales also continue to surpass last year with 975 homes and condos going under contract compared to 840 last year.

The median price  continued it's upward swing as well, climbing from $190,000 to $226,000 representing a 19% increase over this time last year.

There's been a surge in condo sales with a 143% increase in closed sales in the $300K-$500K price range.  The $2 million+ price range skyrocketed with a 1200% increase in closed sales.

Inventory in the Naples, Bonita Springs and Estero market stands at 5,021 units which is a 5.1 month supply, a 21% decrease compared to this time last year.

GOLF TIP 



 

Chip well from thin lies.

 

Often, the grass around the green is sparse because of the foot traffic it gets.  If your ball lands in an area that has little or no grass, you have a thin lie.  A great way to play this shot is to tilt your club upward a bit so that the toe of the club is the only part touching the ground.  Play the ball back in your stance, line it up on the toe, and chip the ball on the toe of the club.  By doing this, the club will not bounce off the bare ground and into the ball.  Use a fairly firm grip and by all means, practice this shot before you try it on the course.  View more tips
