LHN to host Academic Quest  

 Wednesday, January 26th, LHN will sponsor and host the 10th Annual

Academic Quest

a middle school academic event.  Schools attending this year are Trinity Lutheran - Downtown, Our Savior Lutheran, St. Mark Lutheran, Faith Lutheran- Sugarland, Lutheran South Academy, Pilgrim Lutheran, Memorial Lutheran, Epiphany Lutheran, Trinity Lutheran - Klein, Bay Area Christian, Northland Christian, Wesley Academy, and Epiphany Lutheran.

Reenrollment for 2011/2012

now OPEN!

Reenrollment is now open to current LHN students for the

2011/2012 school year. 

Re-enrollment will be processed electronically through the RenWeb system.

1. Login to your RenWeb Parents Account. 
2. Navigate to the Family Information Tab of your account. 
3. Navigate to the Reenrollment Tab.

Please find your student's name and grade level for the 2011/2012 school year listed at the bottom of the first screen and place a check in the box and click NEXT.  Repeat this process until all information is updated and the reenrollment fee is paid. You will have the option to pay this fee by credit card or by echeck. 

Priority Registration

The non-refundable Re-enrollment Fee is $275 per student until February 15th, 2011.  January is priority registration for current families only.  Tuition information can be found on the school website.  Registrations for new incoming families have already started coming in, so we want to encourage all of our current families wishing to return next year to be sure and complete the reenrollment process  before February 15th, 2011 to guarantee their places.  After February 15th, the non-refundable Re-enrollment Fee will be $425 per student.   If you have any questions, please contact Melissa White, Director of Admissions 713-880-3131.

Billing Calendar

For the 2011/2012 school year there will be an 11 month payment period with fees being billed in July and tuition being billed over the 10 months spanning August 2011 through May 2012.  As in past years, parents can pay in full.  If tuition is paid in full by May 31st, you will receive a $250.00 discount.  Statements will not be mailed home.  They will be available for viewing online. Parents selecting the annual payment plan will be able to view their bills by late April as payment is due in May.  Everyone else will be able to view their billing statement in mid to late June. The tuition and fee amounts for 2011/2012 can be found on the schools website.

Tuition Assistance Program

This program provides tuition assistance to families of need that will allow their students to attend our school.  The funds that are used to meet that need are provided through donations by friends of the Lutheran Education Association of Houston.  In order to apply for tuition assistance, families must apply online to FACTS Management Company.  Please visit www.factstuitionaid.com to submit your online application.  All applications need to be submitted by April 1, 2011 in order that fund distribution can take place before the first billing.  If you have any questions, please contact Donna Howard at 281-617-5189.

Class of 2011 College Acceptances

Senior David Bodden

named Eagle Scout!

LHN Senior, David Bodden recently received the Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout award, the highest award in Boy Scouting. 

David's Eagle Scout service project was designing, constructing, and installing two display shelves in the LHN band room for various plaques and awards won by the LHN bands and choirs. David begin his scouting career as a Tiger Cub in 1^st grade and is currently a member of Troop 277.

Congratulations David on this prestigious accomplishment!

New Lady Lion Softball Coach Announced!

Lutheran High North is proud to announce Lauren Thom as the NEW Lady Lion's Softball Head Coach. 

Lauren was a assistant coach for the Lady Lions in 2010 and played softball at the Division 1 level

for Oakland University.  

The Lady Lions start district play on February 28th at Emery. 

Congratulations Lauren & Go Lady Lions!

Lion Varsity Soccer

The Boy's Varsity Soccer team is tied for 2nd in District.  They have a record of 11-3 with 4 District games left. They have already qualified for play-offs. Thursday Jan. 27th is Senior Night as they play South.
