*LHN is happy to announce all college acceptances. A special red sign is also placed on the student's locker. Please bring a copy of your acceptance letter and give to Mrs. Mary Heath for your file.

**Copies of the letters awarding scholarships, their amounts and conditions should also been given to Mrs. Heath for your file. These amounts are documented and the total amount of the class as a group is published in the senior profile book distributed at graduation.

LHN's Annual Fundraising Event will be held on November 13th, 2010

Each year, we ask parents to help us fill a great class basket which is put on the Live Auction at our annual fundraiser. This year we are doing a Casino Night to raise funds for new school bus!  The more cool and original items we have in the basket, the better! 

Freshman class basket is Entertainment

Sophomore class basket is Personal Fitness/Wellness

Junior class basket is Gourmet Chocolates & Coffee

Senior class basket is Off to College/Out of the House

Click on each of the wish lists for a more detailed listing of requested items. Please have your student bring their item to school and leave it with the front office with a note that it is for the class baskets. Checks or cash gifts are also welcome, and we can purchase an item to put in the basket. Please send your item as soon as possible so that we can get the baskets put together.

The Lutheran High North Marching Band will compete in the Sam Houston State University Marching Band Festival on Saturday, October 30th.  The marching band would love to have the support of students and parents from Lutheran High North cheering them on in the stands.  The band will perform at 7:45 AM in Bowers Stadium on the campus of Sam Houston State University.  Bowers stadium will give you your best view this season of the Lutheran High North Marching Band.  Please come and cheer us on.

Come meet the newest LHN Lion Baseball Coach Paul Bradley! If you have any interest in playing baseball this spring, Coach Bradley would like you to attend a short meeting on Tuesday, November 2nd at 3:15pm in Room 103.  LHN is excited to have Coach Bradley and his assistant Coach Mario Ramos join the LION coaching staff.
