A few of the main goals of the site are to present an aesthically pleasing site for those seeking a high school, invite people to learn about our school and also to be able to get accurate information and apply to our school easily online. Updates are still being made to the site so please bear with us as we work on completing some of the tabs. We are very excited about the launch and we hope you are too!

Student Holiday

1-17-11

No school on Monday, January 17th, 2011 in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

The school office will be open from

8:00am-1:00pm.

School-wide Trip

1-21-11

Lutheran High North has accepted a school-wide opportunity to listen to a national speaker, Pam Stenzel.

Pam Stenzel (http://pamstenzel.com/) is a nationally recognized speaker on the topic of the importance of abstinence, and she will be speaking at

Concordia Lutheran HS in Tomball, TX, on Friday, January 21st.

This event will occur during the school day and we will join students from Concordia Lutheran and Rose Hill Christian schools in listening to Pam's message.

The students will be transported to and from the event; a special thanks to our Lutheran feeder schools for allowing us to borrow their buses on that day! Lunch will be provided to the students at Concorida prior to our return to LHN. We plan to leave between 8:30 am and 9:30 am, and return to LHN by 1:30 pm. After school activities will not be affected that day.

*LHN is happy to announce all college acceptances. A special red sign is also placed on the student's locker. Please bring a copy of your acceptance letter and give to Mrs. Mary Heath for your file.

**Copies of the letters awarding scholarships, their amounts and conditions should also been given to Mrs. Heath for your file. These amounts are documented and the total amount of the class as a group is published in the senior profile book distributed at graduation.

Wood & Bunteen

Awarded Basketball Titles!

LHN took home two trophies in the TMI Panther Classic in San Antonio over the Christmas break.

Senior Andrew Wood took home the trophy for the Slam Dunk Champion. Sophomore Charlie Bunteen showed off his sharp shooting skills and earned the Three Point shooting title.
