People Seek High-Calorie Foods in Tough Times, Finds Marketing Department Study
Bad news about the economy could cause you to pack on the pounds, according to a new study from the School's marketing department.
School-Sponsored Study Reveals Strength of International Business in South Florida

There are more than 1,000 multinational companies with headquarters or offices in South Florida, according to a new study sponsored by the School of Business, the Beacon Council and Florida Blue. The study, conducted by the media company WorldCity, was released January 16.

School's DJ Nanda Offers Advice on Cash vs. Debt to Senior Financial Leaders
Accounting professor DJ Nanda examined how cash can indicate where a company is headed, during a roundtable discussion with top finance professionals at "The Middle Market - Our World of Opportunity in 2013." 

School's Steven Ullmann Among Nation's "100 Great Health Administration Professors"

Steven Ullmann, professor of management and director of the School's programs in health sector management and policy, has been named on the 2013 list of "Great Health Administration Professors" by MHA Guide. The publisher, which focuses on health care administration careers and degree programs, compiled the list based on personal achievements and leadership as well as the reputation of the health program at each professor's school.
Citi Executives Share Experience and Tips on Doing Business in Latin America
To discuss the challenges of business in Latin America, the School welcomed executives from Citi to host a session on "Leveraging Global Business & Career Opportunities in Latin America" in January.
