There are more than 1,000 multinational companies with headquarters or offices in South Florida, according to a new study sponsored by the School of Business, the Beacon Council and Florida Blue. The study, conducted by the media company WorldCity, was released January 16.

Steven Ullmann, professor of management and director of the School's programs in health sector management and policy, has been named on the 2013 list of "Great Health Administration Professors" by MHA Guide. The publisher, which focuses on health care administration careers and degree programs, compiled the list based on personal achievements and leadership as well as the reputation of the health program at each professor's school.
