Greetings!
One of the most effective ways of sharing information about PMIEF with your community is by making a short presentation at a meeting or event. Below, you will find examples of Liaisons who have spoken and or set up information booths to advocate for PMIEF, along with links to PowerPoint® presentations and flyers so that you can do the same.

PMIEF Liaison Presentations: How to Connect Your PMI Community to PMIEF
Your primary role as a Liaison is to inform your PMI community's leadership and members about PMIEF. Presentations are a great way to go about this, but for many, the task may seem daunting and overwhelming.
Below are some examples of how some PMIEF Liaisons have incorporated PMIEF content into presentations ranging from 10 to 1,000s of attendees. We hope that you'll be able to use the examples and linked resources to make a presentation of any scale.
Create a "Non-Presentation Presentation"
- Incorporate slides into an existing presentation
- Muzaffar Sultan, PMIEF Liaison from the PMI Southern Alberta Chapter, submitted two slides about PMIEF into a presentation that is projected during the chapter's monthly dinner meetings, exposing all chapter attendees to the Foundation.

Engage the Leadership

Take Advantage of Existing Opportunities
- If there is not time in the schedule, set up a booth
- Monica Gonzalez, PMIEF Liaison from the PMI Nuevo Cuyo, Argentina Chapter, worked around the fact that there was not room in the agenda of a regional conference to make a formal presentation by hosting a PMIEF booth during the event, where she distributed information about PMIEF to attendees.

Consider Alternative Presentation Methods
- Host a webinar
- Gerhard Tekes, PMIEF Liaison of the PMI Organizational Project Management CoP, does not interact face-to-face with many of the CoP's members, so he hosted a webinar to reach the group's international audience, which also allowed PMI members to earn PDUs.
Extend your Reach - Network to incorporate PMIEF into large-scale events
- Parvez Alam, PMIEF Liaison of the PMI Chennai Chapter, participated in the planning of the PMI National India Conference and worked with his regional colleagues, namely Dr. Subhash Rastogi, to reserve a PMIEF session and a PMIEF booth, reaching over 1,000 conference attendees.

Liaison Trainings
PMIEF Liaison Training from PMI LIM - Vancouver, Oct. 2012
These slides were used for an in-person training at LIM last October. They provide an up-to-date overview of PMIEF and the Liaison role and inspired great group discussion and the sharing of ideas.
Quarterly Getting Started webinar trainings provide background information about PMIEF and the Liaison role. These training sessions will be hosted by PMIEF staff and others from within the PMI community who are excited to share their experience and advice.
Click here for a recording of a recent "Getting Started Webinar." Please email us if you'd like a copy of the slides without the recording.
The trainings generally include a guest presenter, who may be a PMIEF Liaison or chapter leader, to share his/her experience. Other future quarterly trainings will address topics including:
4 January 2013: Getting Started - New Liaison Training
As we plan our 2013 trainings, we welcome your suggestions for topics that would be of interest to you.
