Instrument and Equipment Transportation...

For those of you wishing to have their larger instruments transported to Calgary:

On the Rounder website  http://secondtimearounders.org/calgary01.asp  you will find a customs form that must be filled out.  You will need three copies.  One copy will be attached to the case or box the instrument is in.  The second is already passed due...if you did not complete one, send to Joe Deal at the address below...TODAY! This copy will be used to produce a manifest for the container with the instrument on it that will be used by a freight forwarding company.  The third will be for you to take with you to Calgary in case the form gets torn from your case or box.

Some of you have an on loan instrument from the 'Rounders  that does not have a box or case, you will need to find a box or casaxse for shipping, nothing can be loose or unmarked in the container.  Fill out the form as if you were the owner.

Please be timely getting these forms filled out and returned to the Band.  No instrument or equipment will go in the container without a form and being on the manifest.  Any wind instruments the size of a trumpet or smaller should be checked as carry on.  Instruments larger than a trumpet, percussion instrument or bells should be packaged and labeled for shipment.  Auxiliary equipment will be boxed and labeled, please see Lisa Rice for your instructions.

All instruments for transport will be collected after rehearsal at Admiral Farragut on Tuesday, June 28!

Thanks for your help and prompt attention,

 Joe Deal JLDEAL@aol.com
