Nurture Year in Review

2011 was a year full of product milestones and achievements. Here is our top ten list!

1. Empath: Empath launched and was honored with a Nightingale award at Healthcare Design in November. This exciting new recliner leads Nurture into 2012 and beyond!

Neocon2010 2. Tradeshows:
Nurture was busy with shows this year, participating in TEDMED '11 in October, continuing with Planetree, Neocon East and the Sigma Theta Tau International Biennial Convention, and finishing with a flourish at Healthcare Design.

3. Future showroom in Nashville Medical Trade Center: Nurture signed a multi-year lease agreement for space in the Nashville Medical Trade Center. The 1.5 million sq.ft. healthcare space will be a comprehensive global marketplace for healthcare solutions, products, and services.

4. Pocket for iPad: Pocket, a Best of Year 2011 nominee by Interior Design magazine, improved its tablet technology capabilities with options for a smaller top and an arm for mounting an iPad.

5. Revit: Nurture made its entire product catalog available on Revit to architects, designers and others who use the Building Information Modeling software.

6. Nurture's Collegiate Healthcare Design Competition: Nurture created this competition and was blown away by the registration of over 80 teams. It culminated at Healthcare Design in November and was a great success.

7. Tava Guest at USC Norris Cancer Center: The first order of Tava Guest, Nurture and the dealer built a strong relationship with the design firm through a jet trip and by showing a deep commitment to the project.

Leela
8. Leela at the University of Michigan Health System: A strong dealer-client relationship, a flexible product and a transitional design allowed Leela to become UM's waiting room standard, leading to another nearly $600K win. Leela also was added to the GSA contract in April of 2011.

Folio
9. Folio at New York Presbyterian Hospital: A high-quality mock-up from the Nurture Grand Rapids team helped make this project a reality at the largest metro New York health system. A detailed dealer presentation and terrific customer service also helped seal the deal.

10. Social media: Nurture continued to expand its social media efforts in 2011, increasing its following on Twitter, Facebook, its LinkedIn group, and the Nurture blog

2011 was a terrific year, filled with exciting product updates, big project wins and installations and increased visibility for Nurture at national tradeshows. We can't wait to see what 2012 has in store!
