Mock-ups Lead to Future Success in Quebec
Montreal, Quebec - Sainte Justine Children's Hospital in Montreal, Quebec, is a big hospital, with myriad opportunities available in the short term and long term futures. Knowing this, Nurture AHM Chris Wilson, with terrific help from Johanne Nardelli, of Trium Mobilier, hosted a two day mock-up in February of 2011, with an overall goal to grow business and identify opportunities within an existing account. They also wanted to position themselves well for upcoming redevelopment projects worth millions of dollars in furniture. Needing to find a way to introduce new ideas, research and products, Chris had lunch with several hospital executives, and simply asked if he could bring new ideas on site at Ste Justine. Chris was given permission to host a two day event onsite, and display Nurture's solution vignettes. Feedback from the event was overwhelmingly positive, from the CEO on down to clinicians and even the housekeeping staff. Many participants indicated that having the sessions onsite was crucial - they would not have traveled offsite to see and hear the same presentations. The results of the mock-up have been terrific. Thanks to this fairly significant investment by Trium Mobilier, the samples can now be injected into the dedicated healthcare space in their new showroom for future visits, or to duplicate this event at another client site. The leadership at Sainte Justine's all now instruct their teams to go to Trium Mobilier as the preferred vendor for day-to-day and project needs, and the client has also allowed Nurture to influence the performance specifications of the modular casework for the upcoming redevelopment project, which is worth millions.
Also as a direct result of the mock-up, 5 new projects have been given to Johanne to work on, ranging in scope and size, and including a $400,000 renovation.

New Folio Technical Cut Sheet
A new technical cut sheet has been created for the Folio case goods product line. The intent of this Technical Cut Sheet is to educate and inform our field personnel about integration opportunities, and to provide them with critical dimensions so they can be more proactive in the early stages of planning and development of healthcare spaces.
This document should enable Nurture dealers and field personnel to position themselves as valued team members in the first phase of design development with architects, electrical and mechanical engineers. |
