One of our favorite things to do after Christmas and NewYear's is to scan the social status updates for pictures of freshly manicured hands showing off shining symbols of a couple's commitment. Professionally they were a great team: Xitlalic Savary and Gary Engel worked together for two years. After a particularly grueling day, the colleagues decided to head to Foxwoods for a "there, there" drink. "We discovered our shared love of music and burritos," remembers Xitlalic. "Yeah, the intricacies of burritos, like bean to rice ratios."

An instant connection in a coffee shop revealed Lauren Digange and Michael Tassone's shared Italian heritage, and on a picturesque afternoon in May, they shared vows in front of more than 200 guests at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel at Salve Regina University and celebrated with a reception at the harborfront Newport Yachting Center.
