Elsie Pritchard & Ian Prior
Rosecliff, Newport, RI

What's the measure of a really good date? Getting together for another within 24 hours. For Elsie Pritchard and Ian Prior, the next day couldn't have come soon enough. "Ian and I were introduced to each other through a mutual friend, who thought we would hit it off," says Elsie. "After our first meeting, we were both floored at how much we liked each other."

Shauri Quinn & James Dewey
International Tennis Hall of Fame

Shauri Quinn and James Dewey have a timeless love worthy of the hall of fame, and that's exactly where the newlyweds celebrated. When the couple passed the International Tennis Hall of Fame on a bike ride during their annual visit to Newport, the future Mrs. Dewey was unaware it would be the venue for 125 family and friends to honor their marriage... until they reached the Cliff Walk and James dropped to his knee. "He knew that my favorite place in the world is Newport," she says. Fitting, then, that they should plan a glamorous 1920s themed reception at the Hall of Fame.
