Greetings!

We want to thank all of you for helping to make 2010 our best year ever.We have made many new friends and were able to host a number of old friends as well.  We have made several new improvements, added new packages, and had our first taste of running two inns at once.  It's kept us very busy!  We hope you have also had a great year and wish you the best during this new year.

Cherry Tree Update Cherry Trees

Our first round of cherry trees are in!! The front walkway of the Pines is now lined with 14 Kwanzan cherry trees! These trees will provide a breath taking spring season of pink blooms that will provide the perfect backdrop for a picnic or a leisurely stroll.

We cannot thank our sponsors enough. With out them, our vision could have never come to fruition. So, Jack Brown, Jim & Bobbi Lepi, Chris Miller, Dianna Sapp, Angela Campbell, Dave & Katie Hamberg, Chris Stout, Dixie Strople, The Santoris, David Neer & Addy Griffith, Jack & Trish Martindell, Dave & Debbie Saliga, Carole Hackett, D.T., and John & Sherfy Browning, thank you so much for your support in beautifying not only The Pines of Dresden, but the Village of Dresden as well.

Remember, it is not too late to sponsor your own tree and be part of the oldest house in Dresden. We are planning 2 more plantings this spring, so act now to get your tree.

The Lovely Retweaters
During Home for the Holidays we hosted a wonderful group of ladies called the Weekend Retweaters.  They visit different inns and promote them through various social media outlets.  We had a great time with them, including lots of singing and dancing at The Depot Restaurant and Pub.  They made friends all around Dresden and had tons of fun.

So much fun in fact, the very next week Tiffany and her husband, Jeff came back for a repeat visit.  Tiffany spent hours teaching us all about Facebook and helped us create our Facebook Page. Make sure you check it out and follow us on Facebook.
Last Chance for 2010 Room rates!!Back Porch
Alas, the unthinkable has come to pass.  We fought it for the last four years, but come February 2011, we will have to raise our seasonal room rates in line with rising costs and such.

We will be raising the rates at both The Pines and tThe Ivy B&Bs $10 per room. This will bring the nightly rate at the Pines to $109 per night and $99 per night at the Ivy.

You still have until Feb. 1st to book your 2011 visit at 2010 rates!  Visit our website today to book your room!

So come on out to the country for fresh air, beautiful views and a romantic atmosphere that encourages you to relax and enjoy each other completely. Take advantage of our reduced winter rates and warm up in our cozy inn where the fireplaces banish the winter blues.

Sincerely,

Marin & Allison
