Greetings!
This coming year we are looking forward to sharing one of our favorite Japanese experiences with our guests, the hanami party. O-hanami, or flower viewing, is a popular and centuries-old spring tradition that includes picnicking, singing and perhaps sipping sake under cherry trees in full bloom. Japanese Parks are full of blooming cherry trees, and friends and family gather to sit and enjoy the falling blooms. It is truly one of the most beautiful experiences we have ever enjoyed.
We are bringing the beauty of this spring celebration to Dresden by planting Kwanzan Cherry Trees that will grace the front walk leading up to The Pines of Dresden. We would like to do this with help from sponsors that would enjoy being a part of the 200-year-old history of the oldest house in Dresden.
As a thank you for your $150 sponsorship you will receive:
· A Candlelight Dinner for 2 during your next stay at The Pines Bed & Breakfast
· A slate tile from the original roof of The Pines dating from 1812, hand-painted by renowned local artist David Neer
· A personalized sign by your tree
· Digital photo updates of your tree
· And a beautiful place to relax when you are enjoying your stay at The Pines
