CP Cal is a statewide organization of Collaborative Practice groups. Our member groups include collaborative lawyers, mental health practitioners, financial specialists, and other professionals. The Collaborative process is being used in divorce and family law, domestic partnerships, same sex marriages, employment law, probate law, construction and real property law, malpractice, and other civil law areas.
Our purpose is to:
- Increase public awareness of the benefits of Collaborative Practice.
- Help to draft local, statewide, and national legislation to facilitate the use of Collaborative Practice.
- Share information, education, and training opportunities with like-minded Collaborative professionals.
- Maintain the high standards of Collaborative Practice throughout the state.
