2015 National Forging and Horseshoeing Competition Sponsorship Opportunities
We currently have 2 awards available for sponsorship in the 2015 contest. These include the Reserve National High Point Award and the Overall High Point Award. Both are available for a 1-year sponsorship with a minimum bid of $750.00. VTFA 9th Annual Clinic and Contest 2014 with Jake Engler, CJF
Vermont Farrier's Association hosted their 9th Annual Clinic and Contest on October 17
and 18, 2014.
The Judge and Clinician was American Farrier's Team Member Jake Engler, CJF. This was the third and final event in the North East TriChapter Series for 2014.
And the winners are:

Southeast Triple Crown Update
The second leg of the Southeast Triple Crown held in Athens, Georgia on October 10 & 11 was well attended. Approximately 20 farriers competed in 3 divisions and 2 man classes. Forging classes were on Friday with live shoeing taking place on Saturday. Division winners included Josh Tompkins, Florida; Lee Crites, CF, TN; George Rogerson from England, and Jacob Eddings, CF. Winners received a nice belt buckle.
An auction followed with donated items from suppliers, as well as hand-made items from a number of farriers. Attendees commented on the great learning experience and opportunity for shared fellowship.
The third leg of this popular event will be held in Ocala, FL on November 13-15, 2014.
